This stove/oven came with the home I purchased. It is the worst stove I have ever owned! Those "safety" burners are crap! I can't get water to boil. Tried frying bacon...the burner gets hot..then turns itself off! The oven temp is random, one batch of cookies came out burnt, the very next batch was raw. STAY AWAY!

I always prefered my coil top ovens over glass and such since I use cast irons and they always seem to do better. Everything runs and heats up quickly and so far has cooked everything wondefully.

I absolutely hate this stove. It came with the apartment I live in, but otherwise I would never buy for myself. It is unreliable, cycles through hot and cooling down which is terrible when your food needs to be a constant boil. Foods that should be taking me 30-45 minutes to cook are now taking well over an hour a half.

We are not thrilled. The top is way too hot. Heats up the cabinets and countertops as if it needs some sort of insulation in the top. Cooks well and love the timer. Just too hot for for small children or even adults. Could possibly be a fire hazzard to the cabinets that are next to it!

This model came with our new-build house, so I can't speak to value for cost.For a fairly basic range, it works alright. I am still learning the behavior of ours, but so far I can comment on some specific issues I have seen.The oven pre-heat gives a single beep indicating that the selelected temperature has been reached. Other than that beep there is no visible or audible indicators (that I have found so far). If I didn't have an oven thermometer inside during heating, there would have been a few occasions where I would not have known if temperature had been reached, as I had missed the beep.The second issue I have noticed is with the range top elements. They have a central component that I think was referred to as a temperature safety or failsafe device. I have noticed several times that my simmer or boil seems to stop unexpectedly and require an increase of the temperature dial. I don't know if this is user error or an issue with the range top.The final, and most important, issue I have noticed is that the range top gets EXTREMELY hot during use. It has done it during both oven and range top use (for the front elements). The front-top portion of the range gets hot to the point where I can barely stand to be close to it. I don't have the asbestos hands of a career chef, but I have logged enough hours in my kitchens to be able to handle hot things better than my more tender-skinned family members. While that would be a valuable lesson in kitchen safety for my children, it seems to me to be an excessively hot surface even considering the usage.It seems to me that this would be a fairly low cost, entry-level range. If the price is low enough. It isn't bad.

I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant about this stove. But I ended up loving it! I had gas at my old home so I wasn't too sure about an electric stove. But the coils heat up evenly & fast. They have a sensor that detects when a pot/pan is on the stove too. A family member has a flat top stove, but this one is SOOO much better!! Very happy with this stove!

My first meal cooked with this stove boiled my food over and made a huge mess. It took me a while to realize that when using med or high settings it cycles on and off. For instance at a setting of 7, one minute it is barely cooking with hardly any heat at all, then it cycles up to high for about 30 seconds and burns or boils over the food, then goes back to barely cooking for another 5 minutes. All of the burners have hot spots that consistently burn one area of the pan. Everything I cook takes twice as long as it should. Then a week ago, the display started flickering and a loud beeping disturbed me in the middle of the night. No power outage at all. I had to unplug the thing at 3am. I plugged it in again in the morning and seemed to be ok but I do not trust this thing at all.

I have had my stove for a month now and it works great, although when I bake a cake I have to take the cake out about 15 mins early or it burns it like the oven gets a little hotter than it should. The stovetop works great and it is easy to use. I do however wish now I had gotten a self cleaning feature, so if your buying a new oven I recommend buying one that has this feature.

Range performing well. My previous Frig range lasted 18 yrs before it died. If this one does the same, I won't be around to applaud. I'm 83. Only caveat, I really wish the oven light came on when i open oven door. It has a light but doesn't come on when door is opened. I have to remember to turn on light so I can see where bake items are placed. The old Frig range had auto light feature. But I'm so happy to have a functiond oven. I bake several times a week.
