performs fine, miss mechanical controls

I bought this to replace a 49-year-old GE that still worked well but was becoming very hard to find parts and service for. I wanted a white finish so it wouldn't look out of place in my 49-year-old kitchen, which restricted my options. The Frigidaire is fine and has a few bells and whistles the GE didn't have, but the touch-screen controls for bake options and light can take a few tries to activate. I'm used to the positive feel and control that mechanical controllers offer. I also wonder about the additional level of complexity that a touch screen has over simple dial controllers, and if it'll last 49 years like the previous oven. But apparently it's not 1974 anymore.

I love the flexibility and ease of use, but was slightly disappointed in the convection feature. It actually took longer to cook so I'm not sure what the advantage is.

We are really enjoying our Frigidaire double walk oven. We had a very specific size we needed to fit the space. This model fit perfectly with no adjustments needed. We love the ease of using the digital functions. There are number out options- you can tell the digital side was well thought out. They even include suggestions for temperature adjustments for different pans which have all been accurate. We have baked cakes, cookies, casseroles, homemade pizzas and they all come out very well. Highly recommend this oven.

The unit is doing great, wife is very pleased. It did take two weeks to get kit so I could run the power from the floor. The unit fit in the same opening as the Kenmore oven that was thirty years old. I did have to modify cabinet to run the power from the floor. (27 inch cabinet)

White 27™ convection wall oven

My challenge was with cabinet and my color choice. Home was built in 1997 with a cabinet that would only hold the 27™ model. Then of course I wanted white. Therefore, I had to wait 8 months to receive it. However, the oven itself is AWESOME! Cooks well, even, and is whisper quiet! Modern looking with easy touch controls.
