    This is a good unit and we are enjoying its space. Something we did buy from Amazon is a sliding plastic drawer that affixes to one shelf .. for cheese etc. I do wish the veggie crisper drawers were on a sliding device instead of loose. Also puzzled by the doors to the unit .. both main and freezer as they tend not to swing shut smoothly .. it requires a solid push. Other than those points .. we are super happy with this Nice Quiet fridge.

    I've had this fridge for two weeks now. The good things are that the fridge is bigger than my last one and it has a lot of room, it has glass shelves, humidity control on the crispers, and, most importatly, it's quiet! The downside is that I have to have the freezer control cranked up almost all the way in order to get it to 0 degrees. If I put it at 'Recommended' it's up to 20 degrees in the morning and has ice crystals all over inside I've heated up the gasket with a hair dryer on medium setting and applied a thin layer of vaseline on the gasket, first when I got it, and again this week. It still doesn't pass the dollar bill test---that pulls out without much resistance. It should be better for a unit that is nice otherwise. Disappointing.

    Love My Top Freezer Refrigerator

    I am very partial to the Frigidaire line of appliances. My stove and dishwasher are Frigidaire, so it would be fitting to keep up that line in my kitchen. I grew up with the Frigidaire name. My parents stood by the name and so do it. I've never had anything but good things from Frigidaire.

    Great use of small space; tends to freeze

    I had to downsize fridges and was worried how I would adjust in a house with three teenaged boys without having to shop more than twice a week. We are able to make great use of space without over-filling. However, I'm finding that if there isn't enough air flow around items, it over-cools and food is frozen in the bottom refrigerator (we have a deep freezer in basement so upper freezer is virtually empty). Easy to clean both inside and out.

    I like how the coils are contained right within the refrigerator. It™€™s a simplified design to store food directly with minimal organizational cells that allow a greater capacity of a variety size containers. This is my first new fridge in 22 years and I like the basic features. I especially appreciate the two controls, one for the freezer and one for the refrigerator to set the temperatures individually. The fridge is very quiet when it is running .I am very glad I made this purchase.

    We received ours as a replacement for another refrigerator we had, so we got it sight unseen. It cooled fast and is working great. It™€™s a nice little fridge. The ™€œdrawers™€ on the bottom that hold the vegetables are more like bins (not connected to anything as they slide), so that has taken a little getting used to. The door has good sized shelves. Pretty wide, which is nice. Light is bright. Overall we like it.

    The frig is doing a great job and is very quiet. I think the freezer rack could stand a little improvement. The space for the ice cube trays is a little large and detracts from the rest of the space. There is no meat keeper tray in this model but we saved the tray from the old frig and that seems to work. Good unit for the money

    from day one i have had trouble. water on my floor everyday and some days 2 times a day. there seems to be a problem with the gasket on the freezer door. i can feel cold air blowing out of the freezer door where the gasket is by the hinge of the door. i am sure the compressor is running overtime to cool off the freezer. i have tried several times with the store i bought the unit from to see if they can do anything to correct this. cant tell you how many rolls of paper towels i have used to clean up the water from my kitchen floor.

    The doors still do not close without active attention and push. The freezer configuration is very nice, however the lack of a light is not helpful. The refrigerator configuration is bare bones. The vegetable/fruit drawers do not operate smoothly and easily. According to the owner's manual, the glass shelves are essentially fragile and unable to tolerate any heat such as anything above room temperature put inside to chill/store. The unit does keep food cold/frozen.

    I received my 17.6 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer as a free replacement from PG & E's Home Energy Savings Assistance Program. It is a very simple refrigerator. Lighting inside is not very bright and the shelves are very deep and difficult to reach way in the back. I am still very thankful that PG & E replaced my 25 yr. old refrigerator. because I am on the CARE program.
