Refrigerator-back of motor exposed and wires?

Concerned about the exposed wires in back of the refrigerator. Since a mouse or animal could potential chew. Why wasnt cardboard put in back like the other models.

I have had my refrigerator 2 weeks. It is beautiful to look at. However it runs sometimes as much as 30 minutes in an hour. Even when it hasn't had the door opened it runs. I can't get anyone to tell me how this saves energy.

Just received this yesterday and when I went to level it I discovered it only has front levelers. rear rollers can't be adjusted. Have never heard of this before. I like the fridge but it makes no sense I had to create a shim to level it. Disappointed.

I waited 3 months for refrigerator as it was out of stock when I ordered it. It came damaged, both freezer and refrigerator doors completely dented. Ordered replacement door and I was told freezer is out of stock (no known date for availability). Replacement door came damaged so I waited 2 more months for second replacement door and what do you know....that was damaged as well. Still waiting on replacement doors. Would like to return refrigerator but was told no exchanges once food is in refrigerator. A side note-refrigerator makes droning noise all day. Very dissatisfied with this product and company.

I purchased my Frigidaire last fall and it moans and groans like an old man. My guests have a good laugh when they visit. I have accepted the "aches" it seems to have.... perhaps from the compressor and have sadly had no reply from the manufacturer or the seller. I do not recommend this product.

This refrigerator does not have a meat drawer, but I bought it anyways because it was priced right. It runs much quieter than my last refrigerator. Everything works very nicely.

Bought this 3 months ago. Keep in garage as second fridge. Having problems keeping freezer temp stable probably due to garage temps. Fridge temp stays stable. Will contact Frigidaire about problem. Overall good fridge.

Frigidaire refrigerator model FFHT1824USI have been buying appliances for 50 years and this is the absolute worst designed refrigerator that we™™ve ever purchased. The layout is horrible. The older, smaller refrigerator that we replaced had a much better layout and held more groceries than this one. The shelf spacing must have been designed by a person who never saw a pop can because you can™™t put one upright on the second shelf. It only needed ¼ inch more space and it would have been great. Also the shelf are designed so that any item pushed toward the back on any shelf will fall over because of the raised border. A real pain in the rear. Also, you have to firmly push both the top and bottom door closed or it will stay open. No amount of leveling (or un-leveling) or adjusting will fix it. All of the many refrigerators we have had in the past would close simply by letting go or a slight push toward close. Whenever we called customer service, we got a person that new absolutely nothing about taking care of a problem, didn™™t care about your problem and told us to call the store where we purchased it.

The refrigerator was purchased as an extra for the garage. The set up was easy and the unit runs very quietly. Although this is more or less a " basic " model it seems well built and keeps everything cold as expected.

I am disappointed there are not more options to place the glass shelves inside the fridge. It makes it impossible to use the available space efficiently. Also what happened to having a crisper for cold cuts/cheese and a spot on the door for an egg carton. The fridge runs ok, just do not the layout of the inside.

My husband and I got this fridge about a month ago and, although incredibly spacious inside (and certainly an upgrade from our old fridge) there are some features that I wish were considered/ included. There are no bins included for the second or first shelf - this is a common feature in a lot of fridges for deli meat/ cheese/ egg storage. More so, it doesn't seem like bins of this nature are available to purchase for this fridge, so I have to go through 3rd party retailers. Same issue with the storage shelving on the door, it comes with x-amount of door shelving but there are no opportunities to purchase more to utilize all the space provided. What this means is that you have a huge fridge with a lot of space, but the space isn't actually realistically usable because you'd have to stack most of your food to replace what an additional bin/ door shelf would have done. Overall good fridge, just disappointed that I can't even purchase these kind of additions to make it MORE usable.

This is a great product, but the noise is horrible. Within minutes of the refrigerator being delivered and installed, I began to hear noises that I at first thought was a neighbor using an electric drill. I called the warranty department and a representative came out and said it was the refrigerant, but said the noise was so bad that I should call Frigidaire directly. He put a sound dampener on it, which did quiet the noise so that it no longer woke me from a dead sleep.I phoned Frigidaire and spoke to a very kind customer service representative who sent out another warranty representative. This second rep stated that it was, in fact, the refrigerant, and yes, "it was annoying" and he asked me a few times if it sounded like that whenever the fridge was running, to which I responded "yes." He then said there was nothing he could do about it because it was in the owner's manual as stating:"Buzz: The compressor may produce buzzes during operation, and the buzzes are loud particularly upon start or stop. This is normal.Creak: Refrigerant ?owing inside of the appliance mayproduce creak, which is normal."The sound is constant when the refrigerator is running and it's a cross between a dentist's drill and the lost souls of Purgatory crying out. I recommend anyone who purchases this product to ask for it to be plugged in before installation to prevent horrible sound pollution coming into your home.Thank you!

We were fortunate to find a new refrigerator when our old one died. The space in our "vintage" home limits the size of appliances we can use. This model was the perfect size. As others have mentioned, I wish it had a meat/cheese tray, but all in all, it is serving us well. We haven't had the noise issues that some have reported.

I could not be happier with my new Frigidaire refrigerator! In fact, I love it so much it even has a name, ™Sterling™™! All silliness aside, this is the perfect refrigerator for my needs: sturdy door shelves and a wire rack in the freezer for better circulation; glass shelving and adjustable door bins (really nice!) in the spacious refrigerator. Delivery was delayed due to the pandemic so I shopped around for alternates. Nothing even came close to ™Sterling™™. In addition, I enjoyed an excellent customer experience starting with Manny at Airport Appliances in Concord and ending with the two professional delivery guys who switched the door handle and leveled the refrigerator in record time!

I bought this in June and so far so good. My only complaints is that it does seem to make quite a bit of noise, no matter what. Thought it was too close to the wall, so I moved it. I moved food from directly in front of the vent of the freezer, which helped but it™™s unrealistic given how much food I need to store for my family. I also wish there was a deli drawer and that the shelves adjusted better (not that they™™re difficult, but the heights seem...weird). Also wish the doors would close with a single gentle push. Far too many times have I had to go back and push the door all the way closed. Other than those things, the fridge is great. Nice size, things seem to freeze/chill quickly.

We had to replace our fridge, and saw this on sale locally. Our kids are out of the house or in college, so we don't need a huge fridge. I like that you can store so much in the door! The shelves are adjustable, so you can decide what fits with your needs. The drawers are a little stiff to open and close, i hope they get better. You can also adjust the shelf in the freezer, and use the separate knob to make it colder, which is a great feature! Overall, I would give this a 4.5 out of 5, but i can't do that, so 4 it is.

We bought this product to replace a refrigerator that was 37 years old. It has saved us money for sure. Our electric bill has gone down about $20 a month so far. It does make a lot of weird noises though and I had hoped it would have a deli drawer which it doesn't. The crisper keeps things a lot longer than our old refrigerator ever did. I have been able to keep celery a long time in this refrigerator. We are happy with it.
