    Sabbath mode hard to use

    I really like this freezer and so far it is working well. The dial that is used for the sabbath mode is in a silly spot, as it would make it difficult to put food in front of it. It would be smarter if the control were on the side of the freezer. In addition, the sabbath mode is difficult to turn on and off. I often need to do several attempts before it works.

    I™€™ve only had the freezer for about a week but so far it™€™s great! Very stylish. My only complaint is that if we don™€™t hold the main part of the unit with one hand while opening with the other, the unit slides around while opening.

    Frigidaire Freezer stopped working after 3 months

    My Frigidaire 20.0 Cu Ft upright freezer quit working only 3 months after purchase. It is suppose to keep food cold in the event of a power outage, but after 1 day of not working, everything was defrosted. I am so disappointed, and have lost almost 500.00 worth of frozen goods. Brand new, and its junk.

    Bigger but uses less electricity

    Bought to replace an older 14 cu ft upright. We love the extra room and the fact that it's using less electricity (about 20% less).Door has nice seal but fridge wants to come along when you open the door. Floor levelers are a bit flimsy and don't prevent the rolling. This is a small nit relative to the other benefits and features.

    This unit is a significant upgrade compared to my 3 cu.ft. chest type freeze. Ample space and interior lighting is great. It keeps food frozen, as it should. The green LED power indicator light at the bottom is difficult to see during the day in our carport. That is my only dislike.

    I just sat with a sound meter on the alarm. 45 decibels, sitting a foot in front of the unit.My keyboard clacking is hitting 50-60 as I type; my calm speaking voice is 60-70. Completely inaudible through a garage door. (Hello, Garage-ready freezer?) I chose this unit specifically because it had an alarm, but the first time I needed it, I never heard it, and I lost everything in it.

    I have the new 20.0 cu sitting opposite an 8 yr old 20.0 cu Frigidaire of the same model group, see pics. Old froze due to condensation/stopped drain. Complete defrost restored operation. New has better interior wall sealing, however, less shelf space, but ok. We use wire baskets on shelves in both. Note panel defect in new 20 CU. Leveling New is a pain with only rollers.

    We have only had this 20 cf Frigidaire upright freezer for.2 months, but so far jit has been great! Lots of space, runs quietly, freezes quickly. So glad we bought the larger unit (we were considering the 15 cf). Using bins helps to keep food items organized. Love the green safety light that confirms the unit is on. The interior light is great too! Hope its lifespan is a long one!!

    Freezer broke down after 2 months, Frigidaire technician said warranty was void because freezer was in garage. No where on their warranty does it state that appliance has to be in a controlled environment. Warranty states that temperature can not exceed 110 degrees. My garage stays at a constant 86* but the technician did not accept but at the same time had no device to measure the temperature. Technician was also rude to my wife and very unprofessional in his job.

    3 month old freezer broken for weeks and still waiting on repai

    Had this freezer 3 months when it froze up and stopped freezing. Took 5 days for a repair man and 5 days for the part (fan assembly). 2 days later, same issue as before! Warranty people called a different repair man and he said defrost heater. One to two weeks wait for the part. So this 3 MONTH old freezer hasn™€™t worked in weeks and still waiting for longer™€¦ Had I wanted a crappy freezer, I™€™d have bought used. I bought a $900 freezer and have had to lose meat twice! And it™€™s still not working. Be warned it™€™s not worth any money!

    Fast easy set up. Even Temp for sure is working. Door storage space is ample. Only let down being not enough adjustable shelves. Two additional wire shelves would be most helpful. Stacking frozen food beyond 2 or 3 items, other than pizza's or box food, is tricky at best and the primary reason I avoid using a chest freezer. I buy in bulk and vacuum pack along with seasonal harvest processing.

    I have had my new freezer for a month and I couldn't be happier. One of the things I like most is that it is so quiet, you can barely hear it running. It keeps everything that we have in it completely frozen, and it gives me the peace of mind that if I leave the house for a day, I don't have to worry about returning home to find everything defrosted and water damage to my wood floors. This is exactly what happened with my other freezer. I have purchased several Frigidaire appliances over the years and have been extremely satisfied.

    This garage rated freezer is great. I recently moved from Ohio to NC, so I needed to purchase a new garage freezer. I had a Frigidaire garage rated freezer in Ohio for several years without any problems or issues, so I bought another Frigidaire garage rated freezer for my new home in NC. It fits great in the garage and I love the light inside when I open the door, also it has small green light at the bottom to let you know it is working and you can easily see it when you open the garage door to pull in. I recommend this model for anyone considering a garage rated freezer.

    The upright freezer I bought is just what we have needed for our family! It's a good size and will be well used for many years to come. It runs quietly, is very well lit inside, and has adjustable shelves (sturdy coated metal) as well as a coated metal basket at the bottom. The best part, that clinched my purchase, was the freezer was manufactured garage ready, exactly where I wanted to put it! I've got easy access to the freezer from the kitchen, which makes my life so much easier, as far as food planning and prep!
