    Nice product but we had no idea how hard the black glass is to keep clean. You can use any product on the market to remove the grease and cooked-on items but the cooktop always looks streaked and hazy.

    Glass top cracked while using 3 of the 5 burners

    I recently bought this electric stovetop and while using the 2 left burners as well as the center burner simultaneously, I heard a pop sound and turned everything off. After further inspection I realized that the glass top cracked between the 2 left burners all the way down to the middle burner control knob. At this point it is unsafe to use or to clean as there are very small glass shards everywhere and there is obviously a razor sharp edge where the glass cracked. I'm thinking it was a manufacturing defect and I am praying that Frigidaire will warranty this unit. Their phone line is always busy and I still have not received an email back from them after a few hours. Not too happy so far.

    Attractive addition to our kitchen

    We replaced a working but ancient cooktop, for two primary reasons. First, the settings on the controls were very hard to read. Second, there were stains which were impossible to remove. We considered changing to a gas cooktop, but the cost of running the gas line made the project exceed the target price for the upgrade. The new top is attractive, but I can already tell that the surface is going to be easy to scratch and clean.

    Wanted to replace Kenmore cooktop with stainless Frigidaire cooktop, this one fit the bill. 5 burner option is nice, and black with stainless knobs looks sleek against granite color. Quick boil burner is handy. Clean up is easy, just wait till completely cool! (Unless sugary spill, then immediate). Have been pleased with Frigidaire brand in other appliances.

    This replaced a four burner cook top which failed after 25 years. We enjoy the five burners, one quick heat and all the various sizes to match pot or pan size. This top, however, is harder to keep clean and scratch free than the old unit.

    I love my new cooktop. My family have commented on how beautiful it is and it just makes my kitchen look so nice. The feature I really like is the light that reminds you that the surface is warm. This is important so that you don™€™t place anything on there that will cause it to crack which has happened to people I know. It cooks wonderfully and I wouldn™€™t buy any other brand.

    The cooktop was installed February 1, 2022, and it is a very nice cooktop with ample burner capability and we love the extra large burner! It is perfect to boil pasta water or make large pots of food. The knobs are very nice as well and we love that they are stainless steel to match our other stainless steel appliances. We would definitely recommend this cooktop to others!

    Your Cooktop arrived 2 weeks ago. I cooked & cleaned normally according to your guidelines. Within 3-days, I noticed a few scratches on the burners , & I used the proper ™€œ cleaner & pad ™€œ ( purchased from the same Lowe™€™s Appliance Dept., with Guidelines from Sales Expert.) I am disappointed with the endurance quality of your Top. Being a gourmet cook, I have had a GE Performance CookTop for 6 years, I have never had any scratches- issues; except a few oil/food stains around burners sometimes. And the ™€œ stain-rings ™€œ were cleaned & removed easily & totally by the ™€œ white pad ™€œ without any damages to the Top. I just donated this GE Top to Habitat for Humanity. My new Frigidaire Refrigerator & Oven are doing great. But I am disappointed with this Cooktop. Thank you for taking my input, Mrs. Lin

    Bought this during pandemic because my first stovetop was too costly to repair. This fit the existing opening in my granite perfectly, so no cutting was necessary. This stovetop is wonderful to cook on. I didn™€™t realize how poorly my old one was until we started to use the Frigidaire stove top. Will be purchasing dishwasher and microwave in the fall and will purchase Frigidaire products. Highly recommend!
