    I™€™m continuing to get small black flakes/small black particles that float in the water with a brand new filter. I have flushed many gallons through filter and even bought a second filter to see if I had just received a bad filter. They both leave black flakes in water and I cannot drink the water. Please advise on a solution. This is a terrible, costly problem.

    First time ordering from site, the filter they shipped was damaged, cap that covers are broken and I am trying to contact someone and I can't get a hold of anyone. I also took advantage of automatic shipment, but if this is the case where they would send damaged filter, I wish I didn't sign up for this, so disappointing. Our fridge is not even 6 months old and the ice maker is stuck and now we have to wait a week for the technician. This Frigidaire is the worst appliances I have ever owned. I wanted to order directly to avoid counterfeit but service is horrible. The only reason I ordered this is this fits the size for the fridge in my newly renovated kitchen. If you have a choice don't buy this product.

    I used a discount code for this item and it showed 25% off the original price, making it more reasonable. Then, when I got the email receipt, it showed they jacked the price UP 25% before applying my discount code so it didn™€™t help at all. It makes no sense. I have reached out online multiple times but the agents end the conversation when I ask for assistance with figuring out why the amount I was charged is $15 different from what it showed when I was checking out my cart. I have also called the phone number multiple times and I just get a ™€œwe are sorry, we can™€™t take your call. Bye!™€ At this point I just want to cancel but Frigidaire has made it impossible. What a scam.

    water filter does not work at all. Our refrigerator notified us that we need to replace so we ordered a new one even though our water tasted fine. When we put the new filter in our water started to have a bad taste. We thought running more water through the filter would make the taste go away eventually. However this was not the case, we have had it for almost 2 months and the water still taste bad.

    I have bought 6 filters from Home Depot, Lowes, and Amazon for the same refrigerator that I bought in October last year. Now mind you I have a well and yes I have a whole house filtration system because of this. So this bears the question,why am I buying so many filters for this refrigerator? It won't make ice if I don't. So are these filters worth close to $65 for almost a month and a half of ice with summer coming up? Thinking of just spending $2500 on an ice machine. In the long run it would be cheaper.

    Had to buy an OEM filter for my fridiare, couldn't find one. Had to ship clear across the country from NY to Idaho. The filter got here, I wasn't to replace and the new one won't snap in. This is an OEM PART. $50 FOR NOTHING. New one looks exactly the same. Kinda angry right now.

    Questionable 99% Pure rating

    I have a new refrig that has this filter installed in it -- I ran the water through a TDS meter and it came out as 217. I ran the tap water through the same meter and it came out as 217. This filter is suppose to remove chlorine as well as other containments but before and after TDS readings do not appear to back up the claims that it removes XYZ from the water. I could be wrong but Chlorine is a dissolved mineral that should impact the TDS meter readings. I am waiting to hear back from customer service regarding this but until then, I figure I will at least post this review.As a side, I do not notice a difference in taste between tap and the water coming through the filter.
