We looked at the professional level Jenn Air, Sub Zero and LG. This refrigerator is equally designed if not better in several aspects at a reasonable price point. I just wish Frigidaire thought about being consistent with its stainless less steel color. Doesn't come close to matching my Electrolux microwave (same company folks), or my Viking range. My only knock on this product at this point of its service life.

When they delivered the refrigerator we then come Ted the water source. The water dispenser was not operating correctly. Water was coming out of the top of the fridge and out of the ice maker. We had to call Schaefer™™s Appliance Store where we purchased it from for them to come out. It appeared the type for the water had been cut or spliced. They will be out June 2nd to install it.

We love our new French Door Frigidaire refrigerator. We have a small kitchen and the counter depth option was much appreciated. We think having the two ice makers is a really neat idea, we use the bottom one to fill up coolers when we go to the beach. The added detail of the stainless strip on the shelves is pretty and we are so glad we can fit our large water bottles in to fill them up with water and ice. An extra cool feature we are liking is the cold drink timer! Lots of room in both the fridge and freezer and we love the clean look of the stainless steel!

The drawers do not come out very far to be able to reach items in the back of the drawer. And, my old refrigerator had a little shelf at the top of the freezer drawer. It was very handy and I miss it. The function of the refrigerator is fine. It makes lots of different sounds from my old one. Also, the wrap placed over the product for transit is nearly impossible to removed from under the refrigerator liner and the outside housing. It boggles my mind that it was manufactured to be between the plastic lining of the interior of the refrigerator and the outside stainless steel product.

I have 2 complaints: I wish the handles were fingerprint proof, and that the plastic wrap didn™™t get stuck in the seams - impossible to get it all out. When you switch off the ice maker/dispenser the fridge continues to make ice in the freezer. Maybe I™™m doing something wrong? I don™™t see a way of turning off the ice dropping into the freezer pan.When the power goes out even for a couple of seconds the fridge does not reset & resume normal operation & even normal temperature! I was shocked. It flashes a red led stating ™ power failure™ & the freezer temperature in particular does not return to normal.The fridge motors are noisy & can often be heard gurgling overnight.I had a small door ding right from the factory. Peeling the plastic off the stainless steel is a monumental task requiring an ultra sharp exacto knife & extreme care. The stove™™s oven is also very noisy. It makes plenty of strange noises when warming up until it reaches cook temperature. I thought that buying a top line American appliances was the way to go. They certainly look stylish but performance is mediocre & the power failure issue in particular is a major problem as I travel often on business.
