Side by sides have greatly improved! Had an LG 3 dr but got tired of digging in freezer. The frig side has so much accessible room. The freezer is a little more limited in space but visibility and pull out drawers make it work for a single person or couple. Love it™™s sleek, shiny appearance. Really updated my kitchen from the traditional white.

The fridge itself is great, so far (has been installed for about a week). The fingerprint resistant stainless is fantastic and a lifesaver with two kids. Ample lighting, decent amount of adjustability with the shelves. The fridge itself would be 5 stars, except I ran into two challenging issues.First, the plastic that protects the stainless steel doors is very thick. It performs well in protecting the fridge in transit and when it was moved into the house. I was looking forward to that satisfying peel once I had it in place. Instead, it took over an hour to remove all the plastic and tape, and there are pieces of plastic still stuck in the crevices where the ice & water dispenser and the gasket are. I imagine it will take another hour or more to remove all of it.Second, Zues himself installed the leveling feet. I tried an adjustable wrench to turn the plastic portion of the feet- no dice, it just turned on the metal stud. I then had to fabricate a ~14mm(ish) ™wrench™ out of some leftover 1/8™ plate steel I had. The space is so small that you can™™t even fit a regular open-end wrench on it. To try both of these methods, I had to lift the front of the fridge up with a bar to gain access. It was crude, and it worked, but it chewed up yet another hour in setting this fridge up.(I've also posted this review on Bestbuy.com, where I bought the fridge)

The interior lighting coupled with see thru shelves make finding items easy. I would prefer a 2 paddle system for dispensing ice and water. It's faster that way and I am afraid the switching back and forth from water to ice is going to wear out the system The corners of the door bins are very sharp and my old skin has already been cut by them. Killer ice maker.

I really like a lot of things about this refrigerator. It looks sleek & modern. It doesn™™t show a lot of finger prints. The organization features in the refrigerator & freezer are great. There is lighting throughout which makes it easy to see everything. The ice maker makes plenty of ice given it™™s small size. We needed a smaller refrigerator due to space & this one really maximizes space. The major flaw is the seal on the freezer is very weak. Even closing the refrigerator causes the freezer to crack open. You don™™t always notice & it doesn™™t alert you that it™™s open. This causes frost to build up in the freezer. We have to constantly check to make sure it™™s closed. If you have kids it™™s a big problem, and I have 2. Sadly our new normal is constantly checking to make sure the freezer is closed. These photos were taken after removing a lot of the frost. The shelving also has frost so this is going to require a complete clean out. This isn™™t the first time it™™s happened either. My freezer isn™™t even full so it™™s not like that™™s causing it to come open. We have purchased Fridgidaire for all of our kitchen appliances through the years & I™™m disappointed with the poor workmanship on this one.

Great Quality and Functionality

Well constructed quiet running consistent temperatures and the no fingerprint stainless steel is excellent. The water and ice maker are vastly superior to the ones in or previous french door LG that we replaced with this Frigidaire side by side. I'm not sure why side by sides have fallen out of favor but so far we prefer it to the two prior french door refrigerators that we had. Of course the ultimate test will be durability one of the reasons we chose this fridge based on the reviews that we read. Our two prior LG French doors with the linear compressor both failed at about 3.75 years.

Faulty bottom door hinges

My refrigerator was delivered 10/25/22. In 01/20/23 the Right door hinge started making a dragging sound and it is cutting a grove in the part below it. When they came out the repair man said the hinge is only covered for 8 days under warranty and is considered under cosmetic. Their boss said that that plastic parts in that hinge has been known to have a problem for a long time and not corrected. How can any part be warranted for 8 days. Will not ever purchase any Frigidaire or Electrolux again. I even put Electrolux central vac in all the houses I have built. If this is what you have become, I will no longer purchase your products. Covered for 8 days really!!!

It is beautiful. My previous refrigerator was by your company. It lasted over 20 years . Never needed a repair. The compressor died. I still have freezer by company. It is near 20 years old.It has never needed to be serviced. I can also say I had a washer and dryer by your company. They lasted over 20years. They never needed a repair. I replaced them with G E products based on consumer report website.

This is a good basic refrigerator with icemaker. Bought it because it fit the space available in my kitchen. Icemaker is a bit noisy when dumping ice and refilling. Has several filters that need to be replaced on a regular basis, which is easy to forget.

Do not Purchase this Flawed and Malfunctioning Appliance

This is the first refrigerator I ever purchased new and it should have been an exciting and wonderful accomplishment for me. However, this appliance has malfunctioned ever since I bought it new. The warranty process dragged on for months and months until guess what? It is about to expire and despite replaced parts and servicing, they have not repaired (or replaced) the malfunctioning appliance. The unit is constantly wet inside with condensation. There are 2, 1 inch thick sheets of ice the back of the inside fridge covering the vents. My food freezes and now the drawer handle is broken because it was frozen to the back of the fridge. If you are like me and love cleanliness, this is not the appliance for you! The spill proof drawers are basically folds of plastic that are IMPOSSIBLE to clean. Crumbs and grime build up in these pockets and even if I take each drawer apart with a literal screwdriver, it is still impossible to clean. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS REFRIGERATOR!

This unit is wonderful. It makes life so much easier from a wheelchair. I can get and do things I couldn™™t with my older refrigerator.
