    There is a lot to consider when purchasing a new Refrigerator. The Frigidaire is a long trusted name - my last one was nearly 40 years old! This model checked all of the boxes for Quality, Storage Capacity, Water, Ice Maker, Crisper Drawers, Door Shelves and Stainless Steel. And...I got all of this at a much better price than the foreign brands that have imported their less reliable products. Quality pays you back in the Long Run!

    All glass shelves (3) fall off plastic hinges at front end. They are not wide enough (1/2 inch). Including the plastic drawers. Called their support and tried to explain to a non English rep. Refrigerator only 3 weeks old from LOWES. Would not recommend any Frigidaire appliances at all.

    We recently upgraded our kitchen appliances and decided on a Frigidaire package deal. This set is in the Gallery series and included the range, over-the-stove microwave, dishwasher, and side-by-side refrigerator. The interior of the refrigerator, especially the freezer compartment, is a nice upgrade for us. The icemaker no longer takes up an entire section of the freezer, allowing even move storage (area next to icemaker is ideal for boxed items). The freezer also has two drawers, compared to only one in our old freezer, allowing more sensible storage of bagged items.

    It™€™s working great so far. The ice maker and water dispenser works great. It does make lots of noises but none of them are unbearable and don™€™t last too long when it does make noise. Do wish there was more room in the fridge part but we knew it was less room before, but may just of not realized how much less room it really is than our old top and bottom one. However i do prefer the freezer with shelves and how it™€™s organized to the old freezer drawer we had where we just tossed and had to dig stuff out so we can deal with less space as a trade off.

    I noticed that when we are closing the refrigerator door, the freezer door will open slightly. Sometimes it will close again right away, but other times it does not latch and stays open. Obviously, this has been an issue because it is listed under the troubleshooting section of the manual and the solution is to ™€œclose both doors gently.™€Should a brand new refrigerator do this?Is anyone else having this issue?

    So far we don't have any big complaints. I do wish the filter on the top shelf in the fridge was not horizontal. Milk & juice won't fit under it so it does limit the space a little. The doors are a little uneven and that bothers me but they say they can be adjusted. Then I'd be perfectly happy with our purchase.

    Love my Fridigaire Gallery Refrigerator

    I needed to buy a new refrigerator out of necessity. I went online to shop and compare the different models and prices. I ended up purchasing the 25.6 c/f 36" side by side refrigerator with the water and ice maker. I purchased the Gallery finish which matched the other appliances in my home. I love the brushed finish (vs. the shiny s/s) and the sleek, curved handles, and the vinyl coated sides which is great for cleaning. I am very pleased with my choice. Plus there was an 'appliance' sale going on so I saved money, too! Bonus!!! In 2013 I redid the kitchen in my old home with the Frigidaire Gallery appliance package. I liked the way it looked and the way the appliances worked that when I sold that house I redid the kitchen in my current house with Frigidaire as well. Unfortunately, the refrigerator wasn't on sale so I kept the one that came with the house and it finally died. Now all of my kitchen appliances match! I am a happy Frigidaire owner.

    The door does not ™€˜stick™€™ closed. Gasket is defective.The ice maker makes about 20 pellet sized cubes every 24 hours.The noise of it running is loud and consistent. I™€™m sure that™€™s not right and is shortening the life of the unit. I would not recommend.

    Fan runs all the time, and too loud. Does not cool like it should.

    Even though the fan runs fast when needed, then slow when possible, it's just plain to loud all the time. I would think they could put more thought to the design to keep the fan noise down. The compressor is quiet enough, but the evaporator fan is unacceptable and now I'm stuck with this annoying sound. I have owned over a half dozen fridges and this one is the loudest. Also, it struggles to freeze and cool. I am still trying to see if it will stay cold enough, being only a month installed, but the temp is set to minus 2 and 37 degrees, yet the thermometers inside read at zero and sometimes +5, while the fridge can not seem to get under 40 degrees. And down the bottom my veggies spoil fast being 44 degrees. If it stays this way, I will have to start complaining to Frigidaire under warranty. Though everything else is doing what it should, the two most important things to me is somewhat quiet and cold enough, yet this fridge is failing at both.

    I really like my new Frigidaire Galley as it behaves like I would expect, i.e., it keeps items cool in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. Otherwise it has just the right amount of options. The only draw back thus far is the drawers in the freezer seem a bit cheap and it is plastic on plastic so you may want to lube the rails with a bar of soap or olive oil.

    Remodeling replacement fridge

    We™€™re remodeling a used home and needed to replace a fridge that no longer kept food cold.This new fridge has no problem keeping food cold. The water/ ice holds a tall mug. It might not fit a super tall water bottle. It fits most of mine but not all of them. Absolutely like the quick cool feature for when I forget to put sodas in the fridge. Just pop one in the freezer, push the button and grab a frosty drink when I finish getting ready in the morning. Door bins are hold s a bunch. I wish, like with any fridge, that I could put the shelves EXACTLY where I want them. I can dream™€¦ right?

    Nice fridge, lots of room and the drawers slide nice and smooth, Wish it had more options to move the shelves up and down though.Would have given five stars but only gave four because of the horrible noise the ice maker water pump makes, no brand new fridge should sound this way™€¦ever.I understand the noise of the ice dropping into the bin, but when it goes to fill up the tray with water, the pump comes on and makes a loud horrific noise and actually wakes me up because unfortunately my bedroom is next to the kitchen. At least the loud noise is fairly quick, and as long as I don™€™t use much ice and it™€™s not making a ton of ice to replace what I™€™ve used then the fridge is pretty great.But be warned that noise in the freezer is jarring to say the least.

    Spacious and Functional

    We really like our new fridge. My household has just my young son and myself, so we don't keep a ton of food around. However, I wanted a fridge that was functional. The ice and water on the door are easy to use. Although the water spout points outward instead of down, so you have to be conscious of whether your cup is under it when filling or it sprays out at you. Even my 4 year old can tackle this skill though, so it's not really a deal breaker. We love the extra space nearly the ice compartment, bc who needs that much ice. We easily took drawers and shelves out to clean it and reinstalled them. I appriate the adjustability of it all.
