Really happy with the power of this AC unit, and it's pretty quiet. Was easy to adjust for the size of our window and install, though you will need two people. Love being able to control it from the app, though we haven't tried controlling with Alexa yet.

Excellent product. The installation is really neat. Much better than the accordion side pieces on full window a/c units. Very quiet. It takes a few minutes to get used to the touch controls. It definitely takes two people to set it in the window but once it is there it is solid. We will probably buy one more. Once these Clear View units get out there the back orders will build up.

Finally, there's a manufacturer that is improving design and functionality. This air conditioner is smaller than the average unit, it's practically silent since the motor is outside, easy to install, cools efficiently, and you can open the window to get fresh air anytime! I bought a few of these and they are operating without issue. BTW, terrific packaging – there is no way it can be damaged in transit with the amount of Styrofoam and plastic caps on the inside.

It has been a month since I bought this unit from Wayfair. The unit arrived dented on top of the compressor - more cosmetic than anything but for the price, I called and I was refunded about $74. The install was easy and I did it myself. Two people is ideal for lifting the unit into the window. I would recommend watching the video rather than reading the instructions as it was much easier to see the parts. As for the noise, it is very quiet on "quiet" mode. The compressor is loud when it shuts down or starts up again in any mode so it can be startling especially when falling asleep. I keep this unit on "quiet" mode/speed most of the time and it cools a room of about 500 sq. feet very easily. On medium or high, it will also cool a small room off my bedroom which is another 100 sq. feet. Overall, I'm happy with the unit.

Very easy to install, unit cooled a 85*F 300 sq/ft room fast and in the sleep mode you don't even know the unit is running. I will purchase more of these units soon. Also the WiFi control from my phone is a cool feature.

It's quite inside, was easy to install, it does not cool as quickly as my giant 8k BTU and would have assume it would give same BTU. It's also very loud outside. You hear the water bounce off coils and the heat being expelled. I believe this is why there is no drainage plug

I really like this unit but I do admit the price of the unit has my expectations higher. I paid the extra so I could open my window on cooler nights. The unit does not filter water out the back properly it is very loud after it rains. It is installed properly. I also used the extra foam to close in the space between the screen and the unit as well so bugs didn't fly in. That being said, it's a nice unit. The quiet mode is very quiet.

The front of the unit makes more noise and rattle from the fan then the rear where the compressor is.looking inside the unit a bolt for the compressor does not appear snug not sure if it's suppose to or not.part of the panels is dented as well.i have a nudea u shape that is very quiet but I like the clear view design much more.too bad it has alot of issues

Love this AC unit. It far exceeded my expectations on multiple levels. First the design is sleek and has a low profile. Because of the horseshoe shape, you are easily able to slide it's over the window sill. If the window still is too wide, no worries, you can adjust the opening of where the unit rests on top of the still. The functionality provides 4 different modes; cool, can, Eco, and dry. It also has 4 different speed settings; auto, quiet, medium, and high. Even on the high mode is very quite. The noise from the unit doesn't overpower the room. I installed it in a larger room and had no issues cooling the room down pretty quickly. It comes with a remote but best of all there is an app that can be downloaded to operate it remotely. Over all, fantastic unit. Highly recommend if you need a portable unit to cool down a room. Great to have in case of an emergency if your central AC unit goes out.

Huge AC! Need to Have a Certain Window Sill For It

Beware that this AC comes in a GIGANTIC box. It's massive. Had to wait until my boyfriend could carry it upstairs with me (NYC PROBS!) We could only put it in the window in our kitchen since my other windows have panels ledges sticking out. I love how you don't need to rely on the window to hold the AC in place. It just sits on the ledge. No scary installation with the chance of it falling and killing someone. As for the air itself, it cools down our apartment in no time. It's quite than most AC's but not silent.

I got this air conditioner for my house that doesn't have central a/c. All the rooms have window units. I was a bit worried about the shape of this particular air conditioner but after viewing the installation video, we got it on with minimal sweat and good teamwork. It blows out so super quiet compared to the other units in my home. It cooled down our living room in no time, very pleased and very impressed. Let me add that the control panel is very easy to use, but the air conditioner can be controlled through your phone as well. I really love this unit. Very cool, sleek, and modern.

First I want to say this window unit is amazing! The hardest part was taking out the old window unit that almost fell from the second-story window! The initial setup was very easy when following the instructions and online video. Take your measurements, apply the foam mount, set the air tunnel length, and place it over the window frame outside and inside. Set your feet on the outside, level the unit in place, and measure to cut the foam inserts for the sides. Now, once you have the unit over the frame for all the leveling you don't have to worry about it falling out like other style units as it just stays in place! When everything is done for install and turn it on you will immediately notice how quiet it is and how much more view you have to the outside world. It takes up so much less space, less weight, less noise, easy to access maintenance items, and so much more. The area this unit was set to cool already felt cooled down by a few degrees within minutes and was noticed by everyone else that came in after I finished installing it. Having a remote makes it easier to control while laying in bed after getting comfortable. Not only does it have the remote but it connects to my wifi allowing me to control it via app or Alexa/Google assistant. Keep in mind that means you can control it while away from your home if you didn't mean to keep it on while away or you want to start cooling down before you get home! The app also gives you notifications on when you need to check the filter, set a schedule, or maintenance help. So if you want more viewing real estate out your window, keeping cool, stay quiet, and control from the comfort of your bed or couch with smart features then this is the unit for you!

This is the A/C of the future with WIFI ability that can be controlled by an app on your phone. I truly love this A/C it looks great in my window with the low profile design so it sits low on the window sill while having more window to look out of. The design of this A/C is to fit over the sill while getting the most view and light though the window, the middle opens up on a slide with set screws to the width of your opening. Once the A/C is placed there you can set the stoppers on the back side to support the A/C from outside, then install the foam that's provided around it for insulation. The A/C is very quiet and has multiple settings including a light to alert you to change the filter when needed. Simply download the App and control the A/C from anywhere you are. With 8,300 BTU it cools down my room fast and efficient and what I love the most is I can turn it down before I arrive home with the app on my phone to the adjusted temperature to my liken. Another way you can control it is linking it to a smart speaker to be able to have voice control. There are so many features that come with this A/C, one very important feature is the energy report that gives you information about energy consumption that is being used another great feature is the auto dimming on the control panel the automatically dims after one minute of inactivity. The control panel is flush with the unit and is completely touch screen with a nice display for all the controls.
