I'd still have my 25 year old dish washer if just one simple part was still available. Maybe I will like this one better after using it awhile. However, it still will sit too low to the floor (oh my aching back), take hours to complete a cycle and unless I use heat boost to dry, the dishes will be wet. Never used heat element on old one to dry. Yes, fan used electricity, but didn't heat the whole kitchen causing a/c to come on.

I replaced my old GE Dishwasher of fourteen years with this Model. I gave this unit a four star rating, because of a missing Roller Wheel assembly #WD12X27747 on the lower dish rack. This is only a $5.20 part, but Quality Control is important to me.

our two previous dishwashers required Borax to keep dishes from spotting we have very hard water, we could never use the heated dry feature even with the Borax the dishes were very spotted with water marks. The GE is wonderful no more Borax no more spotting even with the heated dry. Best dishwasher we have ever owned. Has more rack space because of the great design.

The Instructions for installation are a bit out of order on some of the steps. If it was a first time experience for an installation the installer would be puzzled. The appliance is quiet and so far has done a good job washing. Nice features for the price.

I just received my dishwasher on Tuesday, 8/3/21 and have run it 4 times and the dishes are just not coming clean. This was of course after I performed the prewashing in the sink and then put them in the dishwasher. I received this dishwasher from my Home Warranty company (One Guard - horrible company). I knew that it was a downgrade from what I had but I at least expected that it would work but I guess that was too much. Really disapointed in the choice of dishwasher from the warranty company and the performance of the actual dishwasher.

So far, we have been really satisfied with our new dishwasher. It is very quiet-can hardly hear it running. Takes about 21/2 -3 hours for a cycle, but the dishes come out very clean and spot free. My last dishwasher had the silverware basket in the door, and this is inside, so it takes up space that could be used for more dishes. The dividing spikes for placing the dishes seem a bit strange to me, even after I looked at the manual online, but I am figuring out placement. This machine is not as heavy as the last one, so it will probably not last as long. However, it seems to clean well, there is a sanitize feature, which I use, so I know they are clean. If we had it to do over, we probably would have gotten a more expensive, heavier model, but it's just the two of us, so we have no need to run it more than two or three times a week.

This GE dishwasher is more of a base model than mid-grade and is not the quality that I am used to from GE. The latch is a simple piece of plastic and I am wondering how long it will last before breaking. Now the front controls won't work and I have only had it 2 months! On my end, I really regret not getting the delayed start feature on the model I purchased.
