    The icemaker in the door allows the ice to thaw enough to wear every time I use it I have to remove the ice bin and break the ice loose because it is all froze together I have tried adjusting the freezer temp and nothing seems to help

    We love our GE french door refrigerator in the slate finish. It takes all the work out of cleaning off fingerprints! It is sleek on the outside and has adjustable shelves and great lighting on the inside. Ice maker is loud when refilling, but we are used to the sound now.

    It works and keeps things cold as expected. My disappointment is the noise it makes. It is much noisier than the 12 year old refrigerator it replaced. There are 2 different noises. One is the compressor running and the other is something that starts in low mode then ramps up. often it tries to start and then quits and tries again several times before it gets to running.

    This has honestly been the worst fridge I have ever owned. It's 7 months old. We have nothing but trouble with it. Storage space sucks. Freezer handle broke the first week. Ice machine doesn't put out ice like it should. Replaced water filter and now nether water or ice will come out. Now we woke up to water on the floor. Freezer thawed out everything so we are out a lot of money. We had our house built and this was the appliances we got stuck with not just choice. I would not recommend this fridge to anyone.

    Overall satisfied. Storage pockets on doors require creativity to be useful. Not as functional as should be for a family of five. The flimsiness of the plastic bins do not seem like they will hold up over the life of the refrigerator, we shall see. Water and ice on the door work great with no issues. Filters cost $45 lasts us three months. Profile, size and color are awesome. Love the slate color, no fingerprints.

    Great looking and spacious fridge. The only negative is the fridge section needs to be set at coldest setting of 34f and easily maintains 38f. It stays at that temp and cycles as expected. Just doesn't match up with digital display. Would not be able to get it any colder than 38 the way it is. Gave it days to balance out with little opening of door. Just wife and I.

    I love this fridge! It's the perfect size for two adults' with of food. It keeps the food at the perfect temperature. Fingerprints are a thing of the past with the type of material used on the doors. My only complaint is that a small amount of ice is produced in the automatic ice maker.     Great Fridge for price

    We were in a pinch to find a fridge quickly because ours died. We didnt want to spend a ton and also didnt want a "basic" in stock fridge. Luckily, we found this one locally and in stock. Bonus, my wife loved this color vs the stainless. We do have counter depth cabinets but opted for standard depth fridge and the extra space is worth it. It only took up a few extra inches. My only two concerns is that is seems to run loud and the ice capacity is small and it takes longer to make ice.

    I LOVE this fridge, it is much better than my old fridge, with more space and I love that I can put a full cookie sheet in the freezer without finagling. The only downside is there isn't a lot of room for tall items (1-gallon milk jugs, etc.), so that gets a little tricky especially if you don't want to give up a shelf to create the height.

    The shelves are not very adjustable for height. Unless you want to loose 1/4 the top shelf there's only one place for a gallon of milk in the door and only one gallon will fit. Other wise it's a nice fridge.

    I do love the fridge for its size and the fantastic room it offers but if you want an ample amount of ice made on a daily basis, this is not the fridge. I wish I would have read the reviews first and I wish I could return it for a fridge that produces more ice. This is the second refrigerator we had in less than a year. The first one did not produce any ice and they did a warranty swap… well this one is not any better and I'm going to start a claim to see what they are going to do this time around because for the price I paid, I expect quality in every aspect, $2500 is a lot of money! I will say they did follow their procedures and sent out a repair comment numerous times until they replaced it without question. GE is a stellar company as I did just purchase a new slate airfry stove and loving that product so far!

    I like the slate color. Easy to clean. They used all the space inside the best they could with additional shelves in the doors, but have very little variety for shelf height. Both sides are the same adjustments. The bottom drawer in the refrigerator section is full size and jams up if you use one hand to close it. Be prepared to disassemble and remove all the doors to get it thru a 36" door.

    The fridge is very noisy. The motor and compressor rattle. The sliding drawers are plastic sliding on plastic so are not a smooth glide and therefore do not slide out evenly. The right door does not stay open with the fridge leveled, it closes on me when reaching in for items.

    For a new refrigerator, my husband and I are very disappointed on how often it runs, and it is SO noisy. We even called GE for a tech to come out to make sure it is not a manufacturer's defect. The tech was supposed to call back to schedule within 24 hours. It's been 2 days, and no contact. I will have to call again on Monday. Nice color.
