    I looked at this fridge in store, but bought a Whirlpool because it was less expensive. As it turns out, the Whirlpool had a faulty compressor...just my luck. Kudos to Lowes for making it right and upgrading me to this beautiful GE! Its as quiet as a church mouse, just like my old GE Profile was before it conked out after years of flawless service. I'm very pleased with Lowes and GE! Loving it so far!!

    We abosolutely LOVE all of the features of our new GE refrigerator, and it has all the room we need. BUT.............it is SO NOISY, we have to adjust our TV volume whenever it starts running. The GE technician told us that we have to "live with it", because that's how the refrigerators are made now. We asked our dealer to trade this one in.

    My refrigerator space requires that I get something less than 33" wide, and this fit the bill, and available quickly! As others have said door space, and shelf arrangement, could be much better. Compared to my last KitchenAid of the same size, I can only put one gallon of milk on each door. I've only owned it for about a month, so we shall see how long this one lasts?

THERE'S NO BUTTER COMPARTMENT AND THE SHELVES CAN'T BE ADJUSTED. ONLY THE DOORS AND HANDLES ARE STAINLESS STEEL THE REST IS PAINTED BLACK.     This is a good looking refrigerator for the size restrictions we had in the kitchen. The doors don't automatically self close which is a negative. The 2 adjacent bins seem a little shallow. and the shelving is not as versatile as I expected. Its also quite loud for a new fridge.

    Attractive and very efficient so far. Love the large shelves in door and the automatic ice maker feature. The water dispenser is awkward to use. It seems if the push button to disperse the water was under the spout it would be easier to use (being right handed) Holding the glass with your left hand and reaching over it to push the button is very hard to manage with the tiny tube that only juts out a tiny bit. It makes it impossible to fill a coffee carafe or pitcher. Would be nice to engineer the dispenser below the spout or be able to push against it with your glass. Ok for a small glass of water but with all that ice................we like to use larger vessels. The only other thing I would change is the ability to pull out the freezer drawers independently; it is rather cumbersome, kind of like pulling a wagon behind when you pull out the drawer. Other than those two issues, we are very pleased and it is very efficient. Have only had it about a week and look forward to many years of good service.

    Replaces same model fridge in house, nice upgrades

    This replaces same model that was in house I purchased. I like the new drawer/shelf system, lights and the different freezer drawers (much better). Thankfully GE is making 33 inch wide refrigerators. I like the water dispenser on the inside, used the other one all the time. I would like to see it have a deeper recess and longer spout. It can be difficult to get some containers filled. A lock/on off button would be nice so I wouldn't have to hold it down the whole time. It came in a nice stainless finish.

    I love the refrigerator section of this model as it has alot of space. The water inside of the refrigerator is a waste. I am not going to open my frig to get water while letting all of the cool air out. The freezer section seems small, the drawers seem cheap, and I'd rather have the icemaker on the fridge door. We didn't have too many options as our space was small, and economy is on backorder. However, I love the space in the frig itself as well as the GE brand.

    When the new refrigerator arrived, I was excited. It fit perfectly in the location, it was all wrapped up in plastic for protection. All the pieces were there, it was so spacious inside and it looked exactly as it was online when I ordered it. I am looking forward to many years of use and satisfaction!

    I have to be intentional in closing the doors. I would like there to be more flexibility in door shelving. Love the freezer drawer rather than a freezer door.

    Good Refrigerator

    We purchased this refrigerator from a local dealer as part of our kitchen remodel. I didn't do much research (Consumer Reports) prior to the purchase, and decided to trust the salesman. Overall, pretty happy with this item. It is a big improvement from the old 1998 era top freezer fridge it replaces. Things I like are the increased room, better lighting, and overall appearance. Things I have found disappointing are the noisy and wobbly freezer door. This refrigerator makes much more noise than I would have expected for a new high efficiency unit. I have done a "reset" by unplugging it and plugging it back in 30 sec later and that did seem to help.

    Excellent fridge!

    Me and my wife bought our first house a few months back. She wanted to replace the existing fridge that was left with a brand new one, one to her tastes. After research, we found this GE fridge that wasn't too much but still had the features she wanted. So far the fridge is working well. It isn't too fancy and has minimal digital settings like fridge/freezer temps, turbo cooling, door alarm, and even filter status. It has a fixed water dispenser inside on the left wall close to the door. It works well. The space is very abundant for many items. You can even remove half of the top shelf to fit like a big pitcher of lemonade in the middle. We place our meats in the right bottom compartment and veggies on the left compartment. I would buy more GE appliances in the future!
