    Simple, quiet, well thought out storage

    I wanted a simple refrigerator, this is a nice quiet appliance. I really like that unlike my old one, the milk won't freeze if it gets pushed to the back. I find the door and drawer storage to be well thought out and practical. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone.

    Loud and annoying refrigerator. Do not purchase!

    This refrigerator is unacceptably loud and noisy do not purchase! When the compressor is in operation, the refrigerator is so loud and annoying that it can be heard not only in the kitchen but in other rooms in the house as well. It is deeply disappointing that the GE engineers, product development team and marketing staff find it acceptable to design, produce and sell this product. Unless you do not mind a really loud and annoying refrigerator, do not purchase this product!

    GE Refridgerator Review

    My 32 year old GE was starting to have trouble keeping things cold and frozen so I ordered a new one. Turns out it needed freon and had a small leak. I am disappointed that the new one has half of the great features of the old one. The design causes any spills to pool up under the glass. To fix this, you need to take out the crisper drawers, lift the glass and clean the glass and the areas that have the pooled liquid. This requires two people. Disappointed in this fridge's features and design. On the other hand, it does keep the food cold and freezer freezes well.

    Does exactly what it is intended to do. Got cold fast when we installed it and keeps its temp. No real complaints other than the cheese drawer does not come out of its track far enough to be efficient, but that seems the case across the board with smaller refrigerators, so not really a downside to this particular one. GE makes decent appliances so I am happy so far.

    To me this refrigerator is use as a back up for extra food and drinks. It is a replacement refrigerator which was also a GE. It lasted several years and was still working well when I replaced it. Very nice, works great and fits well in space provided.

    This refrigerator is just the right size for my space but it could use an extra drawer and the door shelves should be adjustable. The smooth gloss finish shows the fingerprints readily . It should have the texture on the front just like the sides.
