I like the top load dryer vs front load. We just it installed. The washer has great features. I already did one load. Only thing I am concerned that it makes loud noise when it's washing and it is moves from the spot when it's spinning.

This washer is exactly what I was looking for. The water level can be determined by me. The lid can be opened immediately during the fill cycle, without waiting forever for it to unlock. The clothes get cleaner than my old washer. The spin cycle works great. I feel like I am in control of my washing machine again.

I've been using this washer for a few weeks now and have zero complaints. I love all the options, the size, and how gentle it is even on a regular wash. Especially like the sense-fill option so I don't have to guess the load size, but I also like that you can choose to add more water during a cycle if you think it's not enough. It's even quieter than the paired dryer I purchased with it.

I've had this washer about 3 weeks. It's AMAZING! I've never loved a washer SO much! This tub is really deep. Just looking at the washer you may think it's small but it's been designed to use all the space inside it's narrower frame. I wash my heavy quilts, blankets, dog beds, comforters and anything else I'd be hesitant to in all the other washers I've had. I love having all the options. And this machine is quiet! I run a wash and no one can hear it. It has gentle tones when it starts and when it's finished. Did I say I love the options?! You can not get anything clean in a washer without the center rotator, you just can't. My laundry has never come out as clean as with this machine! I have the option of an extra spin which makes drying the laundry much faster! You can not go wrong with this machine, it's a beast!

I had no idea a product that cost $600+ wouldn't even wash blankets (my last two top loaders did). The sales person at Lowes said this GE was the best choice, even-though I expressed I had a family and needed a washer to wash everything. Completely overpriced and a waste of money. I'll never get an appliance at Lowes again (also due to their 48 hour only return policy).

Our 16 year old machine finally died so after some research we bought this model. Things have change in the machines over the years, but this model does everything that we want. It cleans our clothes, AND we get to actually set the water level that we want. It runs quieter too, so that is also nice.

A Newfangled Washing Machine That Does Well

Coming off from a 30 year old washer that was still working but starting to show age, this new GE is radically different than the old style washers. It's a learning curve for me. I've only had the GE for two weeks, and my clothes seem to get washed thoroughly. It just takes so much longer than what I'm used to for a regular cycle. The quick wash is fast, thank heavens. My only negative would be that this washer is noisy. Noisy. It says in the manual to expect that, but to hear it on another floor is surprising. The washer is solid, it does everything it is supposed to, and clothes come out clean. It's just a really different machine than what I am used to.

I bought GE Hydrowave washer back in 2012 and it lasted 10 years. I bought the GE GTW465 because one it was similar to the GE Hydrowave with great features only this washer was bigger. I like that they changed the agitator design (no clothing strings get caught in it) and the fill cycles add more water.

Does a good job getting things clean and has a lot of settings, but it is a bit noisy when washing. I don't like that it has a hard time getting powdered detergent to dissolve and we had to switch to liquid just to keep from running an extra rinse cycle every time. It makes me wonder if it's actually using enough water.

This washer replaced an old GE washer that came with my house that broke. It was also smaller and I wanted more capacity so didn't even try to fix it. The new washer was installed 2 days ago but I've done about 15 loads to catch up. WOW. Clothes are coming out clean and well spun so not using the dryer as much. I've used many of the different settings. No issues with clothes not getting fully wet - I've paused and checked! It washed about 8 queen sheets with room to spare!
