This washing machine fits the bill for everything we were looking for! The design is clean and simple. It is eye appealing, and it can accommodate every size load and every type of fabric. I especially appreciate that the controls easily allow me to wash any type of load with few basic adjustments. The Auto sensor is wonderful in that it allows the technology of the machine to adapt to every load. That takes the guesswork out of the equation for me. From the most delicate to the heaviest and most bulky, this machine can sense and adapt its washing for maximum performance with every load. The regular warranty on this model is five years on all parts. This standard feature eliminated the need for me to consider purchasing an extended warranty. If GE can offer this with standard purchase, I feel confident that this is a quality product. I am looking forward to many years of satisfied service with this washing machine.

This is a very easy to use washing machine. It holds up well to the large amounts of laundry (farm family with small kids) that go through it on a weekly basis. When you use the hot water setting you get hot water, unlike the energy efficient washers that switch to cool water part way through filling up. This machine is quiet and quickly completes a cycle leaving everything very clean.

Washer often skips the rinse cycle and just spins for 20 minutes. You never know if it is going to do a rinse cycle or not so you have to be close by so you can do another wash cycle if it doesn't. Randomly sprays water into washer when it is off and empty. Repair man order new part and will return when it arrives. Major inconvenience since you are already behind do to old washer not working. Would not buy again.

My old front loader was only 10 or so years old when it quit. I went back to top loader. This is a big capacity machine. A short person might need a stool to get to the bottom of the basket! It seems to wash well. Large loads with heavy things can get off balance. I wish the machine had a warning about being off balance. I left and came back to find it off but not completed the cycle.

Modern washers are a significant change from our 30 year old Maytag, so they take a bit of time to get used to. Even with an agitator, they use much less water. The only downside is that where I used to put in the detergent and start filling the machine, the only way to do that now is manually with a small bucket. This increases the weight of the load when the machine is starting, and the upside is that it thinks there are more clothes and fills a bit higher. The clothes come out not only very clean, but also much drier after spinning than the old Maytag. Overall my wife and I are very happy with our GE commercial quality washer.

I really like the fact that the lid stays unlocked while washer fills so Ican add cloths or soap at my discretion . I do find tho that the washer doesn't seem to spin the cloths as good as other washer I've had in the past.

Well built and dependable. It will last for many years to come. My previous washer was a top of the line Whirlpool and barely lasted 2 years…the touch sensor control board went bad, the repair tech said that boards have gone out in under 90 days…repair estimate over $800. I wanted dials instead of touch sensors. This washer was made to last with a great warranty!

washer constantly gets unbalanced

I bought this washer in January 2022 and no matter what setting I use the washer will get unbalanced when I wash towels, sheets or small rugs. I do not overload the machine. When it spins the washer is so unbalanced it ends up a foot away from the wall and pulls on the drain hose and water hoses. The cycle locks up and I have to unplug it, so unhappy with this machine.

This is a great washer. Not electronic. Dials and one button operation. Never realized how dingy my whites were until washing them in my new GE. The cycles are quick unlike my other washer.
