I love the washer/dryer. I had one similar for 33 years and did not hesitate to purchase another. It is quite large and handles any size loads. When the load is done washing, the clothes are almost dry. Can't say enough about this product.

Have had this installed since late January and have had two complete overhauls including drums, still tears up towels, makes knocking noises and spends hours drying a towel. Customer relations is no help. Says we have to have 5 !!! Completed
Service calls. Meanwhile this is a $1500 boat anchor.

Once again, tomorrow morning I will call the appliance store where I bought this unit about 9 1/2 months ago. A technician has made a service call at least 5 or 6 times. When I first got it, I loved it. Larger tub and dryer than the unit I replaced. However, I. had the other unit for 14 years, never had a service call and it was still working when I replaced it. I was remodeling my house and purchased all new appliances, but I regret buying the one I have. First service call was because the only way I could get it to drain was to manually select the Drain & Spin cycle, after the wash cycle, then run the wash cycle again with no detergent to substitute for the risnse cycle.
The technician said I was using too much detergent so the sensor wouldn't allow the washer to drain. He also told me I was mixing light pieces with heavy ones and I couldn't do that with this washer "which was not meant to operate like a full size washer, was intended for apartments. Anyway he got it working properly. I( have carefully measured the detergent has he instructed and for a while if I only washed a set of twin sheets, it worked fine. But if I did a load of towels--one bath towel, a reversible fabric bath mat, my light weight waffle weave towel wrap, a hand towel, a washcloth and a turbo twist very small hair drying towel, it wouldn't drain. I didn't dare add anything to either load except for those items and NEVER mixed sheets and towels which I find ridiculous. Sometimes the speed wash cycle would work but even that wouldn't drain and finally not a single cycle works. As soon as the washer with the loads I have described above, fills to the level I have selected it immediately starts to drain, but never goes into the spin cycle. My warranty expiration is the last of September I am beginning to get really nervous but not to the extent that I will extend the warranty at $90 a year! I want this unit fixed or replace with the service call I will request tomorrow. And I am really anxious about the French doors refrigerator, the kitchen range, and the microwave I bought at the same time. All of the other appliances I used for 14 years with never a single service call is what I expected for these GE products. If the other appliances had still been available I never would have switched brands. For 60 years I had a succession of that brand of appliances that lasted for many years, totally trouble free. To say I am disappointed in my GE purchases is an understatement.

This was delivered in a timely manner. Did not have the delivery people un box unit since we were not ready to hook up yet. So upon unpacking, found a dent in the front which I called the place I ordered from and was offered 10% off or another one. Two things that I didn't like was that the unit did not come with a power cord and when if washing machine is off balance it will not let you stop the unit quickly to stop from shaking. So no I load more carefully. Other than that it is a good product and I would buy another one.

I'm really glad that I purchased this for the laundry closet at our new to us house. A king size comforter will fit in the washer! It's a bit louder than my full size units that I sold with my townhouse but so far it's doing a great job!

The dryer is very quite but doesn't have a buzzer to let you know it's finished drying. The washer is very loud. Sounds like a plane taking off. The size of both the tub and dryer is a good size considering this is a stacked laundry station.

Just had my washer and dryer installed today and am loving it! The features are awesome and just like a regular size washer/dryer. Settings for every kind of load including bulkey (blankets, etc). It's the perfect size for apartments that do not have separate connections or space for washer and dryer combos.

I am in love with my stacker washing machine and dryer! It fits anywhere and it works perfectly. It's so easy to use. I've had it for a few months, use it daily, and never had a single problem. Bonus: it hasn't increased my electricity AT ALL! Idk how but I'm happy!

The unit does not take up much space in the laundry room, yet washes and dries our queen sized quilt with ease. Dryer is at eye level, so no more bending or squatting, which hurts my knees. Win, win for me!

After 5 or 6 years of dealing with another brand and style of stacked system we finally decided to find a machine we liked... after much research and thought we chose to purchase this GE system. It is everything we had hoped for: easy to operate, actually washes and cleans the clothing without leaving soap residue... you can choose the water levels without having to play games as with our last washer. The dryer does an excellent job... My wife and I are so pleased to have purchased this GE washer dryer combo.. it was worth every penny spent.

The dryer works great but the washer intermittently works, sometimes it won't spin the close to get water out sometimes it does not add enough water to the load and other problems. Seems like a lemon.

This is my first stackable washer/dryer. It fits into the space perfectly, right off my bedroom. I have another washer and dryer upstairs, but having it located next to my bedroom saves me so much time and energy.
