I've been filtering our water for 15+ years with this particular product. It's my 2nd one, I also purchased one for my daughter and her family.
It's a little work to change the filter & RO , but for us we are not drinking what comes out the faucet, we'll not before it gets filtered.

We had are first GE RO system put in 7yrs ago. With normal use the tank needed replacing and the filters needed changed. Since it lasted 7yrs it made more sense to purchase the complete set up. I'm sure it will last another 7yr or more.

I have hade this model for years and overtighten a nylon nut on it while servicing cracking it , so I bought a new unit figured after 7 years it was time anyway ..

System is easy to install under sink and greatly improved the taste of my well water. The water dispenser is plastic and broke while tightening bottom nut. It still dispenses water without leakage, but, after several people have used it unaware of it being broken it is becoming quite loose. Too bad GE went the cheap route with the faucet. The rest of the system is well designed.

Using newer model of an older unit, which lasted about 15 years. Just installed - will have to see how this unit performs.Like the color tubing and the faucet. Bigger tank (3gal) than older model (2gal). Filters and membrane easy to install and easily available online.

I love the product design but is difficult to remove the osmosis filter on top when is install also the bottom 2 filters are difficult to remove if you don't uninstall the unit which is lack of directions identifying the hoses coming to the filter to the water supply and the faucet also is good to label to hoses with description to make sure people understand the concept of GE filtration and be satisfied with the unit which is pretty nice once is installed additional fixtures should be included in the purchase and instructions must specified correctly the steps to make sure you really understand the process. Thank you but filter-installation-instruction should be more specific.

I looked at several RO systems, with 3, 4, and 6 stage filters. Having used the previous version of this model for 10 years, I knew filters are expensive to replace and some reviews of other products stated they couldn't tell the difference in performance between system without regard to number of filters. This product is available from many places as well replacement parts and filters and is very easy to install install.

We bought it to replace our Amway eSpring system. We hired a licensed plumber to install, but he just couldn't get it to work, after over 7 hours (with his meter ticking) we told him to remove it and reinstall the eSpring one. My take is it is just way too complicated. We had to return it sadly.

Easy install. Great tasting water. This is the second GE I have owned and my only issue would be the same for any of these systems: a bit messy and time consuming changing filters. Make sure you install it at a location where there is room to access filters. Have an old towel and a bucket handy when you change them. It's not really hard, just not quick. Worth it for the great tasting water!
