The oven works wonderfully! The center griddle heats quickly and does a fantastic job. I was a little concerned that this feature would make it hard to use my larger fry pan, but it's set up well and I have had no issues. The last star lost is because the bottom drawer is clumsy to open and just doesn't look quite right when it's closed, no matter how much we try. Oh well, it's a great purchase!

I like the look of the stove, and the range top seems to work great. I do wish it had drip pans for the burners - would make cleanup a lot easier. Problem: First day we had it, the oven would not work. Diagnosis is a broken pilot safety valve. Other reviewers have reported QC issues with this stove and I agree. GE, you need to check these things before you sell them to us. I expected better quality from you!

Nice looking however the center burner is unusable as the orifice was cross threaded at the factory. Needed to have GE repairman come out and order new part. Waiting for that to come in and be repaired. Better quality control is a suggestion for GE.

This is an attractive stove for those who like old-fashioned white and it works well and suits my needs. But I dislike the burner knobs, which counter intuitively and dangerously, are set so the burners go from high to low, instead of low to high. As a result I have to be very careful when I light the stove, making sure my sleeve is far from the burner when I turn the stove on. Also, since there are few dishes most cooks would prepare on high heat, it means that for near everything I have to turn the knob almost all the way to the right to get the medium or low flame I need and then have to turn and turn the knob all the way back to the left to return it to the off position. I would wish for a better design. of that one element. Otherwise, stove is fine and so far works well.

I absolutely love this General Electric range. It is replacing a very high end $4500 range that was nothing but trouble. The General Electric range does everything that the expensive range didn't do. I stressed when I bought my range … so many reviews that are harsh. The stove works and looks well. I would say the the drawer is not as solid as my old one but I just plan to put very little weight in it. It looks straight to me. Very simple and white looks sharp. The timer volume is fine. I bought the extra piece in the middle to match over the burners (I put my griddle away so it doesn't get scratched) I would buy again.

Very pleased with my new GE stove. Got white to match my other appliances. The storage drawer accommodates all of my cookware. The drawer is bigger than my last one, very happy. The stove is even a little taller than my last one, glad about that. Really hope it lasts longer than my last one too!

I expected a dependable stove when I read the reviews. I wasn't sure how the griddle would be. This one is non-stick covered aluminum. I would have preferred cast iron. I was cautious, cleaning after grease splattered on it. I finally put it to use when I made a pancake breakfast. Cooked the bacon and eggs beautifully. It even cooked the extra pancakes fine. I just prefer my pancake skillet for the pancakes. I think I will try the grill for pancakes but it make take a few tries to get the temperature right. Pancakes were a fail for me for so many years that I am a little cautious. The oven works beautifully, I just recommend reading the directions on which rack to use. It might be different than your old stove. I love the different sized burners! The two medium ones on the right work great for most things. I use the BIG one for my oversized skillets, perfect. I turned the oven on at 475 for a few hours to burn off the oils and 'new smell'. The directions recommend 'self clean' setting. That setting scares me, so I modified it. It was fine. My only issue was that Lowes didn't install it although my paperwork noted that request. They said they had no one certified to connect a gas stove. The bad part was that they didn't inform me of that until the morning of the delivery. If they just let me know, I could have arranged something. As it was, we had to move the stoves around ourselves because we needed to keep the old stove connected to make meals. There are still serious supply and labor issues. I waited 3 months for a stove that was supposed to be here in 6 weeks. I wanted a white stove.

I love the griddle in the middle! Do not have to add any oil when cooking my pancakes and that is a huge plus. Lets you know when oven reaches temperature, very handy:) Had I thought about the option of electric vs gas. I would have gone with electric after hearing several reports on gas appliances being bad for the environment:(

Grill splashes on other burners, it is really difficult to get the full manual online and for that matter to register!! I am just sending in the card by way of snail mail. The timer doesn't display the count down while baking and the PATHETIC BEEP OF THE TIMER cannot be heard over running water in the sink ten feet away, let alone heard in another room in the house!! NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT to family, friends or strangers. Holiday baking has become a major chore with this unknown stove that has taken in the title of "inconvenience appliances".

The range/stove that this replaced was over 45 years old. While basically the same principles, it works better and has more features (like the center grill) than the old unit. The variety of burners make it possible to match the size of the pan to the amount of flame. Better energy usage, et cetera.

This is my third GE range and I love it. The features are easy to use. This particular model has storage drawer in the bottom. Many others have broilers in the bottom, but I like storing my oversized skillets in the drawer.
