    The stone color is beautiful in our cherry kitchen, for starters. Both the oven and stove heat up quickly and we love the griddle! It's something we never knew we needed and use all the time. Would recommend buying the separately sold middle grate that replaces the griddle too.

    We love this stove. It was a great upgrade for us and has many features that make cooking fun. However, there is nothing in the lower broiler to catch grease, so it will be difficult to use. The lower broiler also does not extend out like a drawer, so you are only able to pull out the rack. Again using the lower broiler is poorly designed.

    Huge promises; big issues

    We did our due diligence in researching ranges from different companies before committing to this investment in a GE range. Aesthetically, at first, the range is everything we dreamed of. However the day it was installed and we cooked our first meal on it, we noticed the griddle gets exceedingly hot when the oven is on. Not a big issue now with 15 degree temps, but this summer will certainly become an issue. Secondly, there is a leak in the seal between the two glass door panels. The very first night we used the oven, a ln unsightly drip appeared between the glass door panels. NO ONE IS HELPIN ME!!!! $978.00 and NO CUSTOMER HELP!!!

    The boil burner makes the metal around it too hot to touch. Oven and other burners work great. Temp timer got stuck at 400 one time. We just turned it off then back on to get the right temp.

    This gas range is an upgrade from our old electric stove, and it works really well, but it loses a lot of heat when the oven is operating. During the cooler months, that is no problem at all, but during the summer it's not ideal.

    Preheat Mode is great

    This is my first replacement stove in 23 years. I love the fact that it still has the broiler in the bottom, like my previous range. I love the preheat mode so that I do not have to guess when the oven has reached the true temperature. The only thing I have to get used to, that still scares me, is how I hear the gas entering the oven is really loud and sounds powerful.I have not used the griddle yet but it is a nuisance that I have to clean it anytime I use the stovetop because food just ends up on it.

    A Beast, but in a good way.

    I have wanted a gas range for decades and this one does not disappoint. Tossing a cast iron skillet on a burner gives you an idea of how solid a stove can be. The griddle is such a plus. There is something about hearing a 'tick-tick-tick-tick' before the burner lights, I smile every time. Great controls that allow for accurate cooking temperatures makes cooking on an electric stove seem "less than". I love this stove!
