We bought a new house and it came with this microwave that stopped working after 2 years. Last time getting something from GE, it's a brand new thing! We don't have kids so no one plays with it it's completely unacceptable that a brand new microwave stops working

I've had GE Almost my whole life. Grew up in home where dad worked for GE his whole career and I too worked for them for several years. My one concern with microwave is my last GE did not have a very long life for the control panel. It mad me mad that it gave out so quickly. Hoping for better this time.

Microwave gets so hot it cannot be touched when back range burner is in use..and microwave is not in use. Using 400 cfm on power boost! He said put lid on pot being used....no help. Tech said all microwaves are like that??!!

Like the look of this product. Only had for a week but so far so good... Will say our last GE microwave broke after just barely over 3 years which is to my mind not quite long enough for a product of this price. That being said til this time we enjoyed product so giving it another shot. Hopefully it is not a trend in which case we will switch to another brand.

Purchased this microwave Nov 2020…Magnetron is already bad…it's not even two years old….and GE only has a 1 year manufacturers warranty…I've had 50$ wal mart microwaves last 5x as long…customer service only said sorty out of warranty…I had much higher expectations for a "high end microwave"

I've had GE products for years and they have been flawless. So, naturally, I bought them again. I really hope these new ones are as good as my old ones proved to be. I really don't like the dark inside. It makes it too hard to see what you are cooking. Also, I miss the Vegetable button and the Quick Defrost and none of the GE microwaves had those. Installation was a nightmare. I was really hoping the bracket for the old microwave would fit, but it did not. I don't understand why they have to change everything. It's up and running; so time will tell.

The microwave is easy to use, has many different pre-set functions and seems to heat faster than the one we replaced. The potato button cooks the potatoes perfectly, whether there is one or more being cooked at the same time. Still learning all the functions but so far, it is a great microwave!

We have GE appliances throughout our kitchen but unfortunately this microwave has strongly disappointed. The first purchase of this model died in under 2 years, we didn't think much of it and went ahead and bought the same unit again as a direct fit replacement. Unfortunately, unit 2 just died again in less than 2 years. Seems a defect that causes this model to stop heating.

The microwave works great and I like the different features it has. One negative is that it becomes hot when we cook. We cook a lot and sometimes some meals take longer than others (I.e. stews, soups, tamales). We have a gas stove under it and we now wish the microwave was on another location in the kitchen.

The microwave this one replaces was one I did not like at all, so I knew what I was looking for when I went shopping. This one is just great. I even like the grey finish on the inside, instead of the white. The functions are easy to use and I couldn't be happier. I also purchased the matching GE gas range, love it, as well.

Our new home came with this GE microwave model. The microwave started to disfunction after two years. Sometime it will not heat food properly and other times the it will not heat food at all. This year, our third year in our new home, the microwave stop heating the food at all. The home warranty for the appliance was only one year after we moved in our new home. Therefore, the repair will not be covered. Can not believe this GE brand new microwave in our new home broke in less than 3 years. Worse microwave we have ever own.
