I thought this would be a great stove which was not the case. I ordered the stove and sadly the store has delivered 4 which all had quality issues. The first actually had a gas leak in the front burner. The alignment of the stove is completely off and nails are popping out of the sides. I've added the pictures since GE said none of these issues could be fixed in the field but they are minor cosmetic and offered $75 to keep the stove. Thinking I was investing in a well built product I was shocked at the response. All I can say is check your appliance since ours is not hidden between cabinets all is very noticeable. Very sad response from GE will be going with different brand.

The top oven doesn't heat evenly. The part of the pizza in the back of the upper oven is cooked fully while the part in the front is undercooked. This is not the case with the lower oven, which is functioning properly. I wonder if it has anything to do with the upper door, doesn't seems to close properly. Further, there are holes in the stainless steel where the cook top meets the strip with the knobs. These holes are not present in the website photos nor in the in-store display model. These holes are going to collect grease and food and there is no way to clean inside. I wonder what will grow there. It is very discouraging to pay $2,000 on sale for an appliance and have it arrive with problems. I will update this review after service and hope to have positive news to report.

Looks and feels great. Oven size are smaller, however will fit turkey in the bottom. The option of two ovens is great. Less time waiting and most things baked in the oven fit in the top. Air fryer is okay. I still use our counter top air fryer.

The double oven worked well for Eater dinner without additional planning of time and temperature. The smaller oven heats up quickly, saving us time and energy. We love the way both upper and lower ovens bake and the burners cook. It is also a nice looking appliance. It came with a griddle that goes over the central oval burner and is great for pancakes. The simmer burner and high output burners are fabulous. It is easy to clean. The only con about this range is when we had the gas company come out to convert it to liquid propane, it took two employees two hours to change out all of the nozzles. They even had to take the floor of the oven out and disassemble some parts to access the hardware that needed changing. It would be better if you could order it from the factory as liquid propane ready. Otherwise it is wonderful!

I have only had this range for about a month, and so far I am very pleased. The best thing for me is the even baking! My pizzas and bread turn out beautiful. I am writing again after my initial review, after contacting the local distributor/supplier made two attempts to fix the upper door. The door gap on both sides looks similar i.e. larger gap at the top and wedged in at the hinges. Also, the vertical gap below the stove nobs and top door is not consistent across, 5/16" on the right side and 8/16"on the left side, seems to me having vertical alignment issues too. Moreover, have been using it for over a month but you can still see gap/light on the top, when seeing side ways, showing that the door does not hug properly the gasket on the top.

Upper door closing and alignment issues

We recently purchased this double door oven, and having upper door issues from day one. The door is wedged in tightly at the lower point (where the hinges) and slightly wide open at the top. The Dick Vandyke technician came to have a look, and one things he noticed that one of the hinges are bad, barely any tension, and even after replacing the hinges may not be properly closed. Once the hinges are replaced will see how that will go, if not fixed, may return and get a new one. One thing I may want to add, due to so much back orders and slow in production, I believe the people at the manufacturing plans may not paying attention and getting poor quality control.

The stove is a top of the line product of GE. I love the iron griddle in the middle of the stovetop, great for making pancakes. The double oven is great for a small roaster or a large one.

If you don't have ample space for two ovens this stove is the perfect solution. We downsized to a smaller home and our kitchen didn't have space for two ovens. We entertain our family over the holidays and need two ovens. We reviewed several stoves and chose this GE Stove. It's remarkable and really serves us well.
