It's too bad that GE does not make the knobs metal, as commented by many buyers in the past. The little rubber stoppers holding the grills are also flimsy and can get lost or dislodged easily.

We love our gas Cook top. It cooks well and looks classy and high end. The con on this product is that when your cleaning the cooktop the rubber prongs pop out easily. Be sure to wipe with the grain. U don't want streaks or scratches displayed.

We love the new design of the cook top. The improved grates allow for more surface cooking for larger pots. The addition of another large burner is a game changer. The overall design is easier to clean. And the off/on safety switch is puts your mind at ease that you did not leave a burner on.

I love my new cooktop. The middle super burner is excellent and there is plenty of room to place an extra large pagan/pot and still have room to use the other burners. I like the safety features of a lockout to the gas as well as the lights under the knobs when the knobs are turned on. My drawbacks is that it scratches super easy and leaves smudge marks rather easily. But the functionality is on point!

Very easy to use and clean. Nice looking and I love that the knobs light up so you don't forget to shut off them off and you can lock them so a child won't "play" with them. Takes just minutes to boil a pot of water and the simmer feature works very well.

I purchased this cooktop to replace a 2005 GE profile cooktop that lasted nearly 15 years until my cleaning service shorted out the wiring harness. What I love about GE, is that I could've easily just replaced the wiring harness and continue using my old cooktop. Parts are readily available. But what I love even better about GE, is that the new cooktop is a significant improvement over the old one and fit exactly in the same location. I was able to install it myself in less than 45 minutes. Even better, I could not find the cooktop anywhere at a local appliance store in till March, but GE was able to get one to me directly by the end of December. Amazing!

very safe with the solid stable burner grates and knobs that are lit when the burner is on. Spills are easy to clean with a soft sponge and dish detergent. The 36 inch size allows larger utensils to be used and room for two people to stand in front of the cook top.

The center burner can truly get water boiling fast. The two equal-sized burners of the left works awesome when you have the griddle that goes with it (I recommend you get this.). This is very easy to clean and shifting pots and pans around while cooking is easy and safe.

Elegant cooktop; the large grills allow one to slide pots around without lifting. The controls are in the middle, right in front of the cook where one wants them, and arranged logically so that one never has to double check little diagrams to see which burner corresponds to which knob.

We replaced a 4-year-old Profile Cooktop with this new one. It is a huge improvement. Much more cooking space, excellent griddle, controls are safer and easier to use, and there is a child shut-off for safety. I installed it myself with little effort. The size was exactly the same as the old GE cooktop so it fit perfectly. The entire job took 30 minutes.
