    Stove is overall good so far (. 1 month ). It is slow to preheat the oven and the layout of the buttons is not intuitive, which makes it difficult to locate what you are looking for. Control panel is easy to clean ( the main resin we bought this model) but wish it had a traditional oven self clean the steam self clean does not look promising.

    THis stove reacts very quickly yo heating, boiling water, etc. It's a beautiful stove and I love the look of the flat cooktop. The only drawback is that if something spills on the cooktop, it's difficult to clean. It seems to "bake" on there. It does come off, but I'm also concerned with scratching it so I don't use anything abrasive.

    Love everything about this range. The only thing I would complain about is the steam cleaning oven. Not a fan. Other than that , which isn't a deal breaker, this range has it all.     One star is the fewest I could give, steam clean works OK on the oven interior but not on the door and door glass. The methods of cleaning the glass in the manual are useless; we've tried every one and also the suggestions given to us by GE support which mostly parrot the owners manual. Can't get the glass clean, period. Can't use an abrasive or even mildly abrasive cleaner because the glass has a reflective coating which will come off if rubbed. It doesn't have to be spotless like new but clean would be great. Seriously GE? We've had your Profile appliances for over 30 years in three different homes and this will be our last one.

    I purchased this range to replace a 15 year old regular range. I went between this one and another range. I ended up going with this one because my over the range microwave has chef connect. So far, I have not been disappointed. If you're thinking about getting the induction range but don't have compatible cookware this range is an excellent choice. I love the multiple coils & baking choices along with the touch controls. My only issue is the air fryer isn't as good as a stand-alone air fryer. It says the air fryer doesn't require pre heating but I disagree. Other than the air fryer requiring additional time/temperature, this is an excellent range. As with all glass top stoves, be prepared to put TLC into cleaning it. Although it takes work, it looks awesome when clean.

    Great look and features. Need to really focus on a cleaner and how to clean glass top of stove. It's not easy to clean once you have spilled food on it. We have used the small bottle of cleaner provided but even that doesn't clean the top well. This is a brand new range and shouldn't have these problems this fast.

    Love my new GE Profile electric range. It's very sleek and modern and is a great update to my kitchen. It's very efficient and easy to use. Love that it has wifi and convection bake. There are several different burner sizes on the cooktop and you can even sync two of them if you're cooking with an extra large pan.

    Heats up fast

    Nice product. Burners and oven reach temperature fast. Great looking. Only negative is black stainless a little tricky to keep clean as far as handprints etc.

    Explain smart app. Limitations

    The appliance seems to operate fine. When loading the Range via the app, it only loads an oven for smart wifi control.The Sovetop only display the current status but does not have remote control for anything other than the oven. Is this the total smart wifi control?

    Relatively straightforward to move into position after wiring is set up. Glass cooktop and control panel seem very good at repelling finger prints and spotting. Control settings are very flexible and sense very light touch. Control lockout allows easy cleaning without setting something on. Steam clean features seems to work well for light spatters in the oven. WIFI connection is convenient for keeping clock in synch, and timer and oven status gets texted to your cell (in case you're not watching or listening I guess). Haven't tried turning anything on away from home. Utensil drawer has soft close feature that I'm beginning to get used to.

    GREAT MISTAKE!

    I actually ordered the wrong stove, but it was a great mistake! I thought I ordered the "drop-in" model, but instead got the "slide-in". I had to take out the drop-in supports, but it "slid" right into place without a problem. I love the features, the digital display is well lit and easy to see. I have "belly dialed" while leaning over the stove, but the lock-out option takes care of this problem, as well as allowing cleaning without turning on the elements. I haven't tried the AirFry setting yet, but planning on it soon.

    Excellent Improvement

    Replaced a 9 year old Whirlpool model. This one looks much better, range and oven both heat up mich faster and are much more uniform in heating. No issues with the range so far, only 1 month old. Only think I don't like is that the control panel is difficult to keep clean and fresh looking. That bothered me at first but now I just enjoy the excellent job it does in cooking. Have not tried the air fry or convection cooking yet so can't comment on that.

    Oven and range are great. I'm a chef and my wife is a biker and we both have found this oven to be the best oven we have ever owned. Controls are simple, heats quick. WiFi is user friendly and applications are great
