    I thought all dryers were alike. How wrong could one be! So fast, so gentle, so versatile. The steam refresh is the best thing in laundry. You will find you use it all the time and won't believe what it does for your whole laundry. Sweaters come out like new!

    Like most, I was skeptical about this washer/dryer because of the price. Well our appliance center had a 1 year, no interest. After we heard great reviews and store recommendations, we gave it a go. We had to pay extra for the risers and extra just for black. But other than that, this thing is wonderful. Quiet and quick!! Would recommend to anyone!!

    Loved our new DF7004BE dryer until, it stopped heating, just after 4 weeks. Was very disappointed, especially having been a Speed Queen owner prior, for 10 years. Contacted the Speed Queen customer service and reported the issue. They handed me off to a local repair serviceman to contact. 2 weeks later, the repair serviceman showed up and identified the issue as a failed thermo fuse. Fortunately, he happened to have the part in his truck.

    I like the front load washer and dryer my only complaint is I can never hear the signal for when the cycle is finished. I've tried pressing the button to increase the volume but there's no noticeable change.

    WOW, i thought high quality washing machines went extinct years ago. Went with a competitor after my quality machine died years ago and was very disappointed with the short life span of the replacement. Did some checking and discovered SQ is like what the consumer products used to be. I really don't mind paying a little more for something if it's better and won't disappoint. The control panel screams HIGH QUALITY by the look and feel, and I like the power on self test (POST).

    This is our first speed queen purchase. We grew up hearing Speed queen was the best……. Finally bit the bullet and got the combo. Both dryer and washer perform great…. But the quality is lacking in areas that make the units feel cheap. The dryer door did not seal properly. The door itself was misaligned. Was told by local dealer this was normal and they just bend them to proper shape? This was not acceptable. They did install a new door at no cost. Better than the original, but still not flush. Makes the unit seem cheap and not of good quality. For reference, I went back to the showroom…. And the floor model had same issue. Seems as though the door to the dryer not being flush is a common issue that speed queen just accepts?

    We downsized 5 years ago and went with a smaller dryer, was not happy with it. Did our research and found Speed Queen was American made, which is a major part of our decision purchases. I love the large capacity drum, ease in using the control panel. Clothes come out dry, queen size bedding has room to move.

    The dryer offers a lot of great pre-sets which help a lot. My clothes look and feel better as I can tell my previous dryer ran too hot which impacted the look of my clothes. This machine is great and while only owning for a month I am so impressed with Speed Queen quality. You pay a bit more but I believe it is well worth the money!

    I replaced a very durable 31 yr old Kenmore Dryer and was very concerned with finding something that would last, have the options that I use and would be easy to use. This dryer is built solid. I was able to order a shoe drying rack for it, and has several options but is easy to use! I just put the clothes in, Push the options and it performs every time.

    After suffering for a year with another brand that could NOT be fixed, I purchased this machine. It's awesome! It dries clothes fast and has plenty of cycle options. I wish I would have purchased this machine sooner! The only negative issue is that the pedestals don't have storage. This was a huge problem for me since storage is a primary concern for my home.

    Can't use the STEAM REFRESH which I need this feature frequently. Aslo, clothes are coming out wrinkled. Dispenser is located to where I have trouble filling with a large detergent bottle with a pump. Doors for washer & dryer hard to close without having to slam them.

    The drier does not come with the pedestal or the steam attachment. I paid over $2,000.00 for the drier, and for that price it should have come with all the extras. The drier is noisy and takes over 85 minutes to do a load of towels, yes my dryer vents are clean. Compared to my LG dryer that could handle the same load of towels in 45 minutes. Very disappointed one out $4,000 + dollars. Buy the LG MODELS.

    I have the dryer for about 2 months now and it is working great. It dries the clothing faster than my old gas dryer that was 22 years old. I also so far that I have no dryer lint on the vent outside that doesn't need cleaning off regularly. The only thing I have noticed is I hear a hum from the motor of the dryer in the house than with the old dryer. The dryer is on a concrete floor.

    Worst washer and dryer I've ever owned

    Front load washer will not spin out unless there is a full load that is perfectly balanced. The front load dryer has scorched our clothes and melted spots on our fleece sheets and blankets, and this is on low heat setting. Repair person came out and said everything is fine. Everything is obviously not fine unless you like your clothes ruined. Cannot dry small loads or they come out extremely wrinkled. In my 63 years I've never had this much trouble with a washer and dryer and they were less than half the price of this set.

    Expensive, but I thought it would be worth it. The screen behind the drum on the interior of the unit is secured with sharp edged machine screw tops protruding into the interior. In each of the few loads I've dried (see my review of washer problems), at least one piece of clothing has been destroyed from abrading against these screw heads and having threads pulled out. It would have been simple to cap these heads with smooth metal. A $2400 dryer that rips clothing? Why? So incredibly avoidable.

    My Samsung dryer was taking multiple cycles to dry my clothes after only 4 years of use. The Speed Queen drys so fast! I can't believe how much time we were wasting doing laundry for a family of four! I recently had to dry a faux fur coat and I was worried I'd ruin it.     Dryer Door

    The dryer is efficient and items dry well. My only suggestion would be to offer a glass door, similar to the washer. There are instances that I have opened the dryer door and found a load I left behind.
