worst Washer and customer service ever

Bought two weeks ago. Wanted 517 model, which I have in another house, which is the best washer I have ever used, but could not get it. So bought the 527. Does not clean. Had to washing running clothes 3 times, at extra heavy duty dirt level, with Stain treat and extra rinse options, to remove sweat odors (and it has never taken more than a single load regular wash before with the 517). The problem: no water in drum. Perhaps a half inch comes in in beginning of cycle of first six minutes for pre-rinsing with detergent. Unfortunately, on a normal load tumbling only gets about half of these clothes wet. During the stain treat "agitation cycle" as described in manual there is no water in the tub, only wet clothes from circulation pump. First time I turned it on there was an "Error 35" code which then disappeared after I turned it off and unplugged. Have had two techs out who have run diagnostics. The second spoke with a tech who said if the diagnostics work then the washer is working correctly. He refused to hear from me any of my factual observations of no water, clothes not being clean -- he was obviously reading from a script. Same with most of the customer service reps I have had -- one even told me to try doing only extra small loads! Will seek to return and, if not able will file law suit. I realize HE system, but did not know that meant cleaning without any water in the drum -- I could get the same effect hanging on line and spraying with garden hose. Also, 5-6 hours for every load of wash to get mostly clean is a bit extreme.

I purchased this over a year ago and have always noticed water in front of the machine and thought maybe the seal was wrapped. I called in a repair and a leak inside the unit was repaired. Later that day water was coming out of the drawer as it had an additional leak. Repaired again and now water was towards the bottom. I am going to the BBB to complain for a replacement for a lemon. I spoke with the CEO and they assisted some with a part but have not heard back after I informed them the machine continues to leak despite 2 repairs. I was without a machine for almost 2 weeks only for it to still leak.

We were in need of a new washer replacing our top loader and stumbled across this washer. My wife has had her laundry time cut in half. This washer holds so much more clothing than the top loader and the clothes smell cleaner also. I do recommend leaving the door open taking out the soap dispenser once the laundry to completed to keep from keep mold in the soap dispenser and smelly in the washer.

I've run about 5 loads in our new Electrolux washer. So far it's worked great, albeit a little noisy. In this age of climate change we bought it for it's energy and water efficiency, so I just close the laundry room door if the noise bothers. Also to help the planet, we use the new eco-strips laundry detergent from Tru Earth that come without any plastic packaging and they work well in the machine! But to be fair, ALL washers seem to be noisy. In total, we are very pleased with our purchase.

I used to spend all day doing laundry only to be frustrated with the results. I knew my 20 year old machine needed to be replaced but the new machines scared the bejesus out of me with their new technology. My new washer is fantastic! Easy to use (if you can read), allows the right times for the right load cutting my laundry time by hours. I feel that there is less water use also.

But it would be nice to have a video. I did find someone on youtube giving the tutorial on an older model. It was very helpful.
