    Owned the washer/dryer combo for 3 years. The washer started leaking around the detergent tray after 1 year causing shorts in the front digital panel. We eventually tired of waiting between loads for the components to dry out, so we could use the unit, and decided to replace it with a much less expensive washer.

    Had high hopes for this machine, but it has been a non-stop pain in the neck. The door gasket becomes moldy and mildewy super easily. This means that you have to carefully wipe it out after each wash, then leave the door open so air can circulate. The gasket is very difficult to clean. Hard to reach in the deep folds and be sure you get everything out. I spend more time cleaning the gasket than sorting laundry and starting the washer. Customer service knows about the problem and tells you to live with it or pay big bucks to have the gasket replaced and start all over again with the prima donna maintenance routine. Last electrolux appliance for this family.

The different sales people we talked with had several food suggestions for us and in the end the Electrolux washer and dryer was what appealed to us.     I was hesitant to buy a front load machine. This has been a great experience. I love the cleaning reminder, so my machine stays fresh and doesn't get that musty smell. I love the chimes at the end of the cleaning cycle. And since the machine mixes the soap and water, I think my clothes get an even mixture. I never get clumps of soap stuck in clothes. So many great features.!

    I purchased this machine because my 10 year old Frigidaire had already been fixed three times and I didn't want to invest any more money into trying to maintain it. After this Electrolux washing machine was installed I began to use it immediately. I cannot tell you how impressed I was and am with the difference in the laundry now. Everything is better...really truly seeing whites now, brighter colors, I love the sanitize feature, and the max spin leaves the clothes almost dry...cutting down on the electric dryer time and saving me money. So glad I went with Electrolux. If I win that $1000 I will use it to purchase the matching dryer!

    The main gasket that keeps water from running out of the machine to the floor is poorly designed so that when unloading the washer if there is anything that can snag on it like a zipper it can rip the gasket. I am now on my 2nd replacement. Not easy fixes.

    Have always had top loading washers and wanted something that was better at spinning and getting more water out of the clothes. Very happy with the change and can already tell a huge difference in drying times. Glad I made the switch!! We bought the washer and dryer. The only issue initially was that the washer would shut off, but realized it was because it was not level. Once level, no issues. Both are Very quiet.

    After my Whirlpool Duet bit the dust, we needed a new high end machine - fast! Luckily we were able to land this washer in a couple of days and boy, am I ever glad we did. Worth every penny, from the sleek design and look, to the way it effectively and efficiently cleans. My wife loves the premix of the detergent with the water to eliminate spotting - I love the large drum which enables larger loads (and therefore less time in the laundryroom!). Overall, a wonderful machine that I look forward to years and years of great service from!

    I bough my Electrolux a month and a half ago and I must say upfront that it™€™s my first personal washing machine. Nearly my whole adult life I™€™ve used laundromats or shared apartment based facilities and when the opportunity presented itself that I could but my own machine I took it.. I spent several months researching which machine was best.. which cleaned best ? Which was the most efficient? Which brand has features tat we™€™re still usable a year two years down the road... etc. What I found was very confusing. I am a tech person so it was important to me to have lots of cool buttons and settings and fun stuff I could never do at a laundromat. Sounds silly maybe but it was important to me. I chose electrolux because it was the best machine rated that year, it™€™s made of durable materials, it has a steam cycle that freshens mildewy clothes (I have a dog) and it cleans throw rugs and runners. My favorite thing is that it clicks when it™€™s done and it has a light inside. Mine lives in my kitchen, it™€™s awesome and I wear clean clothes everyday and I never have to wait for some jerk to move thier clothes to a dryer. Dream.Come.True.

    Love the light Inside the drum. You™€™re less likely to leave small items in there. Good capacity and quiet operation.It does not have as many programs as I had hoped. No wool cycle or spin only. It also does not spin out as much water as my other older whirlpool that was made in Germany which spins faster and longer.

    We replaced a 2 year old Samsung washer because we couldn™€™t get Samsung to fix the problem where cycles were running 3 hours. We thought this new Electrolux would give us worry free washing for awhile. It™€™s been leaking for over a month but wasn™€™t sure it was coming from the washer. Now it™€™s a constant drip when the washer is not even running and it can™€™t be used until the leak is fixed. So far I can™€™t seem to get Electrolux approved repair companies to call me to schedule a repair.

    My 10year old washer Bosch 500 series finally gave out and it was time to get a new one. We were going to just get a new set of Bosch washer and dryer but, we came across this Electrolux machines.. we have 2 Electrolux canister vacuum cleaner and they are the BEST vacuums ever, had them for over 10 years. So, because of that quality, efficiency and time trusted knowledge we purchased this Electrolux washer. We couldn™€™t be happier!! Our clothes are cleaner and softer. The settings are perfect for every kind of load I have. I love the extended refresh setting because it keeps my clothes fresh until I can move them to the dryer. The stain soaker allows me to deep clean my clothes without the use of harsh soaps. Just this morning, I washer one of my husband™€™s white shirts in which he had spilled coffee all over! It had been sitting in the laundry pile for a week, and I just sprayed some about stain remover and tossed in my new Electrolux washer in the whitest whites cycle. It came out as clean as new without even needing to bleach it!Amazing!! So, in all, I love my new washer and highly recommended it!!
