Purchased this dryer (w/ matching washer) on salespersons recommendation. Knew within first day there was a problem. Despite washer spinning clothing to a near-dry state, dryer would not dry load in one single cycle (adjusting heat settings will not help much). I realised that clothes were becoming trapped on the large shelf-type lint screen with restricts air flow significantly making the dryer totally insufficient. You have to constantly be stopping dryer and manually removing clothes from lint SHELF and tossing back into the tumbler otherwise items stuck on lint SHELF will stay damp whilst other items tumble and dry. If you aren't available to manually rotate load, you end up with a load full of wet and dry clothes. Very irritating. This design flaw is so obvious that I cannot imagine how this dryer even made it to production. Just peruse other reviews on this model and you will see that every owner has the exact same complaint. And yet when you speak to Electrolux representative, they claim to be unaware of this issue...like it's the first time they've ever had such a complaint. Any buyer that is satisfied with this dryer has clearly never had a decent dryer to compare it to. As owners of multiple rental homes, my husband and I are constantly buying appliances. I can tell you that we have never had a complaint from our tenants regarding any of the cheap, renter-suitable appliances we've purchased and yet we go ahead and buy ourselves the best of the best and it is complete junk. Really disappointed with Electrolux as well as the store we purchased from (Trail Appliances).

My dryer is not quite 2 years old and it is now in need of over $400.00 in repairs. It™™s only my husband and I who live here and the dryer does NOT get overused and abused. I™™m so disappointed in Electrolux and wish I never made the purchase. My last dryer was over 20 years old and I never needed repairs. I should have stuck with that old thing.

I bought the new washer/dryer at the beginning of the month. I really like the capacity of both and the interior lighting. I think they are quality machines and have nice features. My only complaint is that once you turn the machines on and turn the dial you have to wait a while for them to ™catch up™ once you™™ve already turned the dial to where you want it to go.

Dryer began to vibrant a few months after purchase. After researching found that the lint control system is flawed allowing lint to get past screens and fully clog the blower fan. When contacting Electrolux they offer minimal support and I would have to pay for the service. Disappointing especially when they have a known issue.

We purchased a new Electrolux washer/dryer set based on the great success we had with the previous set we owned for over 12 years. The washer is fine, but there is a defect in the way the dryer door is attached and it rattles so loudly i had to have a repairman try to fix it to make it tolerable. The set is only 3 months old.

Esthetics are great and is easy to use, however Auto dry does not work at all, cloths always wet when done. Even time drying lacks ability to get clothes completely dry, we have had repair services out twice with no changes. This performs very poorly for the reputation of the brand and cost.

I also was happy the first few months of using this dryer. However, it has had to be serviced twice - the first time just days after installation because it came broken, and we had to wait for new parts. Now, less than one month after the expiration of the one year warranty, the dryer is making a horrible rattling noise that shakes the whole house and the vendor thinks it is something with the fan. This time it is not covered by warranty and I am looking at a bill that is about 1/3 of the cost of the initial purchase price of the dryer. The rep said that these machines "have too much loaded on to them with the electronics and they will always have problems and be breaking down, and are very costly to repair." So - BEWARE. I would NOT buy again.

This was my first Electrolux purchase and I chose the product mainly on the recommendation of the sales associate. Actually, all of the employees of the appliance store I shop at use Electolux washer and dryers. I have had them for about 3 weeks now and I am very happy with them both. The functionality of the machine was of course important to me but so was the style as most people enter my house through the laundry room so I wanted a machine that looked nice. These machines certainly fit that criteria. I purchased the steel grey color and I very much like the way they both complement my laundry room. The machines are quiet and they do the job well. I also like the quick wash and dry feature as well as the sanitize feature that easily takes the stink out of athletic clothing.

Dryer was converted to LP at Warner Stellian. Came with igniter not connected. Had to call service out of Hibbing MN, Pain. Had to unstack unit and open up. The process took 2 hours to remedy and re position. The tech, my HVAC guy and me were rather frustrated at the poor prep. Other than that my wife likes the unit. SK

I purchased the washer and dryer set together in December. I was excited to be able to own this beautiful set. However, it took several conversations with the salesperson to understand how to get the wrinkles out of the clothes--both from using the washer and the dryer. I had wrinkles even with soft pajamas. I have never heard of such a thing. It appears the spin cycles have an extremely high speed, and as well, vibrates my floor. It appears I have to set both washer and dryer to WRINKLE RELEASE! Why do I have to do this? It seems that with this expensive of a set I should not have to do this. To-date I have only done a few loads of laundry. I will say--the clothes seem to be much cleaner than with the old set. I have not used this washer and dryer unit long enough to been be able to give an overall review. However, it is a beautiful set.
