For all the hype (and the cost), I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this washer/dryer set. Aesthetically, this is by far the most attractive set I've owned. Function wise, however, the dryer tends to leave light wrinkles which I don't understand since I always remove my clothes promptly and I don't dry on the higher settings. I also miss the light feature on my old dryer. If the door was open on that one, the internal light was on. That was a great feature for me since I tend to fold my clothes as I take them out of the dryer. With this dryer, the light automatically goes on after a few minutes and I cannot see the clothes at the back of the dryer. Finally, I don't like the way lint builds up from the first use around the seal in the door window. I did not have that issue with my old dryer. With this one, if I want to remove the lint (which looks bad), I have to use a toothpick to dislodge it. So for the cost, I'm sadly not sure if I'd make this same purchase again.

Again I purchased the washer and dryer a couple of weeks ago and I find both products performing extremely well to date. The drying cycle on the new dryer seems to take longer than the model it replaced, but according to the manual it is more efficient and uses less energy so that is a plus. Love the Titanium color!

New dryer made a scraping sound. Metal on metal as the drum was turning. We had to get a replacement. New washer makes a high pitch sound when in spin cycle. Actually have to leave area in house because of noise. Waiting for replacement. Would probably make a different choice. After thorough research and many hours put in with the staff of major appliance stores (Lowe's, Home Depot, Aaron's, and Menard's) I decided to go with the Electrolux washer and dryer combo. The wife and I have had the utmost wonderful experience with the washer thus far. Every aspect of this machine is customizable (minus 3-4 five adjustments, and only when specific cycles are selected) which makes every single load of laundry it's own tailored cleaning method. We prefer it this way since we consider ourselves one of the few could couples that still sorts laundry normally. The interchangeable features on this machine are absolutely paramount in ensuring all of the laundry gets cleaned the proper way. The only negative is that machine chimes an almost annoying amount of time whenever a load is done until you go open the door or interact with the machine to some degree. If I had to explain it in a way I felt all could understand, it's kind the microwave after the popcorn is done popping. Other than that, is a wonderful machine and is the best one I've ever owned.

It does the thing it™™s supposed to pretty well. Now, let™™s talk about how everyone involved with designing the door and making it reversible should be fired. They must have had specialized tools that were perfectly designed to fit in the tight space between the door and the dryer to get to the screws. Also not exactly sure how they were able to do it without the screws stripping immediately. The picture shows the hardware going on the dryer without the door but does not include removing the door from the hardware in the instructions. Having that system would make a lot more sense and be a lot easier. I did end up with the door on the opposite side of where it was when delivered, but it™™s wobbly because even with the drill that didn™™t fit, but had to be used to get the screws to actually go in, the screws still wouldn™™t screw all the way in. They started stripping when I was trying to remove them in the first place. For a machine this expensive, something like this should not be this frustrating

Bought the dryer and have been unable to use it for weeks. The brand new dryer makes a grinding noise whenever loaded and used. Have had to have the brand new dryer serviced almost immediately after installation. A new side panel has been ordered but not delivered, so I still cannot use the brand new dryer. Very disappointed.
