So far so good. The buttons are very sensitive to my surpise. I sure wish the pedestals were more affordable! Who can afford an additional $300 just for that? It's sad because the washer sits extremely low and now I have to sit on a chair to get my laundry out as it hurts my back. I took off one star for that reason. The pedestals should be included with the price of what you charge for just the washer.

My other washer finally decided to give up after years of service. Got this unit on sale at a local store and I am impressed so far. Not hard to set up or learn to use and even on medium speed the towels, etc. are spun almost dry. This will save a ton of time & energy for the dryer. I may go back and get the dryer that goes with this unit since this washer has exceeded my expectations.

So far, so good. The first day had to tighten door latch when I saw some water on front of machine below door. Install team did not use a level, just turned one leg until there was no movement. It's not level but not shaking either. Small items tend to end up in the door gasket where water drains down. Overall though it looks like a Cadillac compared to the top load Samsung it replaced. Samsung actually rusted out by the bleach dispenser if you can believe that. Clothes have come out smelling amazing with or without fabric softener. Ordered through Electrolux and everthing was included, hoses, install and haulaway which made it cheaper than ordering from anywhere else. Like I said earlier, so far, so good!

We had to purchase a new Electrolux washer because our old Electrolux washer, that was ONLY six years old had drum bearings that failed and the serviceman said it would cost more to repair than purchasing new one. My wife and I are 70 years old and take good care of our appliances, we were surprised and disappointed that our first Electrolux only lasted six years. The only reason we purchased another Electrolux washer is because we wanted to match the Electrolux dryer ( hopefully this was not a mistake).

The Electrolux Series 500 washer has many features and benefits to producing a great clothes washing-cleaning experience. Set-up was fairly easy and I am impressed with the quiet and limited vibration that comes from the location on the second story. The cleaning results are consistent and I appreciate the door prop feature to air out any lingering moisture. Would have really like to see a drum light for the washer just like the matching dryer. The unit is still fairly new and I would need more operational feedback in order to commit to a higher rating.

The gasket harbors a LOT of moisture. I™™ve used many different brands and styles of washers and have never had one that required manual cleaning/drying after every single cycle. If you don™™t thoroughly dry the gasket after each use, you will get an unbelievable amount of mold. Google ™Electrolux gasket mold™ for some pictures. It washes my clothes fine but I would™™ve never bought if I had known about the mold

My dryer broke suddenly and needed a new set asap. Luckily I was able to purchase the Electrolux washer/dryer combo over Memorial Day weekend at a discount. It was delivered a week later after a couple small hiccups with the local delivery company. The actual installation was super easy and the machines are beautiful and work perfectly. Admittedly, Electrolux is a brand I have seldom heard in the US. After some research though, this is one of the brands I can install wall to wall as long as the front is open. Also, researching the unit gave me positive reviews from reviewers as well as users. Upon using it, it is just full of nice features like lights inside the drum, place to put pods, and different wash cycles based on what we are washing. Overall recommended. :)
