I have had this over a year. It is a lot to pay for a pedestal. No warranty available. We had a certified Elec repairman replace the latch and strike and still doesn't close. May be tension spring mechanism. I already have over $100 into this!

I purchased a set of these one year ago and they work well. I use them daily multiple times...so one of the drawers closure mechanism failed. However Electrolux sent the new replacement part free of charge and it was easily fixed!

Smooth operation and huge space saver. It's also nice to have the washer and dryer up higher. A clip broke on mine preventing it from latching shut. It was under warranty and easy to repair.

Installers broke the spring system. Drawer won't stay closed. Another drawer cracked with installer pulled the drawer open. I understand the newer pedestals removed the spring system and we were promised replacement units because these units are less than one month old. They do look nice though.

The pedistal works well, looks good, no issues, the drawer is very large, plenty of room for all your laundry supplies and no more bending over to put in or remove your clothes, I love it.

I really can't say much about this. It is a box that allows you not to have to bend over when taking things out of washer and dryer. We bought two of them. It slides open and you can put things inside. There is a latch that holds it closed. Nothing to write home about - not great, now awful. Functional.

I bought these this week and received it yesterday - I miss my previous washer and dryer that had drawers they where sturdy and easy to use, these are poor quality and hard to open and close with type of system they installed - very flimsy thin door that when you push it bends in, hard to close also : ( very unhappy

They have great storage, they eliminate the need to using shelves or the floor for storage. The also elevate the washer and dryer to minimize bending when loading and unloading clothes. I bought this with my dryer. The delivery guys put it together in the street and rolled it in. I failed to test the drawer before they left. You have to "force" it to close or open. I'm sure the "latch" is not lined up correctly. (it doesn't take much). I called Electolux support and they sent me a new latch and that was great but now I have to "deal" with it. ie.. take it apart, remove the drawer, replace or align the old latch and then put it back together.... Other than that..... its great!

Works well with the washer and dryer in bringing them up to a good height to reach in without bending much. The drawer itself seems a little flimsy, but it works just fine. Overall the unit is sturdy.

I bought pedestals for both my new washer and dryer and love that I don't have to bend down to get to my appliances but the pedestal drawers do not stay closed. When I called Electrolux, they told me that the latches are available and would be $72.89 at my expense. Really?

Spacious, convenient storage that raises the dryer to just the right ergonomic height. I have to push the magnetic latch a couple of times because it sticks a bit., but overall I'd highly recommend pairing this drawer your dryer.

We had a problem with the washer shortly after we purchased in Jan. After much difficulty with HHGregg, they finally replaced the washer and all has been good except for the drawers----they will not stay shut. Even the minimal vibration will cause them to pop open. We had told this to HH Gregg when we called about the washer but getting the washer replaced was such an ordeal we did not bother about the drawers. Washer and dryer are great-drawers-not so much.

The pedestals are well constructed and open/close smoothly except the drawer does slightly catch on the washing machine drain pan. We purchased a low profile drain pan made which is supposed to allow for clearance with pedestal and have extended the feet of the pedestals as far as possible, but there still is a slight catch when opening and closing that does not affect the operation. Otherwise the pedestals are great with nice interior.

I really like the pedestal. Prior to my new Electrolux machines, I had a stackable washer and dryer. For a "person of age" it was difficult getting all the clothes out of the washer. The pedestal is just the right height for me, and it is now so much easier transferring the clothes from the washer to the dryer. Also, I am very happy with how easily the drawer opens and closes. It is very smooth and easy to open and close I store laundry products in the pedestal under the washer, and I use the one under the dryer to store my gym clothes. I'm very happy with my decision to buy the pedestals.

Bought two with our new washer and dryer three months ago. The latch broke on one within two weeks. The latch is normally something that is not covered by the warranty but since the drawer was so new, the company agreed to replace it at no cost. If the latch had not broken so quickly, I would have given a five. We have had no problem with either drawer since the initial replacement.

Works fine now, but the latch was broken on delivery. Took a repair person and a week, but now works fine. Latch is not very rugged, but seems to work fine now. A redesign of the latch is in order. Warranty service was good. Would recommend if the product has a new latch; otherwise, would not..
