We bought my washer , dryer and pedestals about 2 years ago. The washer and dryer are great. Would recommend them to everyone. The pedestals are awesome for storage. Unfortunately one of them will no longer close. Called customer service and the representative sent us the parts to repair it. No instructions came with it however. When l called l was told to watch You Tube to see how it is done. We would have preferred written instructions. So, we have not repaired it yet as our computer is on one floor and the appliances on another. I guess we will get around to trying to repair it at some time in the future. In the meantime we will just live with it.

As you can imagine it's nice to get the washer off the ground to a better comfort level. As advertised and having these on still keeps the washer quiet. The drawers have a nice push in push out feature and these are deeper than our previous ge ones!

its convenient to elevate washer and store your laundry products. i like the feature where you push in and it pulls out. the accessory over all seems like an expensive storage after viewing pedestal mini-washers. now that i am further along in my pregnancy its inconvenient to store things there. but 4 star rating because regular 150 load downy bottle doesn't fit standing.<< so when you pour it drips on floor or open drawer.

These pedestal drawers are an excellent addition. They raise the washer and dryer to a perfect height. No more stooping over to access the machine. I did have a problem with one of the drawers. It is hard to open or close. I contacted Electrolux and they sent me a new latch. However the latch is not the problem it's the drawer. I swapped the drawers and one works fine in either pedestal and one does not. There's something wrong with one drawer. I will have to look at it further to see what's possibly wrong. I have read other reviews about the latches breaking because they are plastic but replacing them is very easy so I don't consider that a negative. I do recommend these as they open easy when they work and the storage capacity is great.

We are extremely happy with the purchase of these units. We have had them for about a month and continue to rave about the features. They are quiet, efficient and the appearance is stunning. The light in the washer is pretty cool. It helps to insure no items are left in the unit after the cycle. No one wants a red sock left in the washer when the next load is whites. The steam feature in the dryer is remarkable! I was able to do a queen size comforter in the wash recently after our small pet got sick and soiled it. That would have been quite costly at the cleaners. Thank You Electrolux for offering such a quality product at reasonable prices.

Purchased for new house after extensive reviews and personal contacts the Electrolux was first choice. Performs very well so excited that the steam water is fed automatically to washer what could be simpler. I think we need to rename the laundry room looks so attractive.

Nice and deep! Fits just about anything you'd need to put inside. Opens easily & very smoothly. Nice drawers. The only issue is the price! But that has nothing to do with the way they function.

I choose the Electrolux set because the dryer has a recessed area for the venting hose and it can be placed closer to the wall than other dryers. The riser however doesn't have a recessed cut out, so that made everything a moot point. I am so bummed that the dryer has to stick out due to the riser.

Can't keep the drawers closed. The latch is to weak to hold the drawer closed. Tried to remove the drawer and their is no releases on the slides to pull the drawer out so I can get at the latch Very cheap slides .

We love the design and construction of the pedestal. But ours required two services calls to correct a problem with the door flying open when the washer spins at high speeds. The spring mechanism was defective. But is has now been corrected and all is well. Aside from this issue, we love the washer, dryer and pedestals.

After a month of use i can tell you for sure the term Luxury-Glide is correct! The drawers are easy to unlatch and glide effortlessly to open. To me that is glide perfect and I no longer have to bend over to get the laundry out of the back of the washer and that is a luxury. This is an easy recommendation to most any one.

After about a month of research, I decided on Electrolux, no frivolous features and a reputation of quality. I've been using for 6 months and our clothes look bright, smell great and basically look like new. Plus, the machines are quite and easy to use. I would highly recommend!

I am so happy I got the pedestal as it gives me extra and convenient storage area. It has a quiet, smooth push button operation which is nice not to ention it raises the washer to a level that makes it easy to put clothes in take out of the washer. I am so glad we purchased the pedestal

Spacious and helpful however after one day the pedestal would not stay closed. It took a week to get parts, and will take another 10 days to get a crew out here. Disappointing. I had read about others with the same issue. Apparently not important enough to recall. We have to keep a stack of books as to not interfere with it being in the way.

we purchased the drawer at the same time we purchased the washer. From the day it was delivered the drawer will not close. Sine we did not purchase a warranty we can not get a technician out to see what the issue or fix the problem without a cost to us. If the drawer functioned I would recommend. Right now we have taped sht so it won't open when the washer goes into spin cycle

They were so worth the investment! The drawers are so large, that I only needed one to hold all of my detergents, softeners and extras. BUT I did lose the ease of storing my baskets on top since they raise the machines so much higher - so I've been using one drawer just to sort laundry...and it's plenty big enough! It keeps things out of sight but right there below the washer when I'm ready to do a load. I do wish that there were a larger "push-point" for opening and closing, since it's convenient to use your foot, but they are so pretty that I'm worried about scratching or denting them.

The pedestal is a must for any front load machine. Height is perfect and the machines are very stable on top. Of the two pedestals purchased, one has worked flawlessly - easy to open, easy to close. The other pedestal drawer would not close due to a faulty latch. Electrolux did provide a replacement latch quickly, so kudos for that. However the latch is a plastic part that sits under the drawer, so you have to remove the entire drawer to replace it. Not difficult, but I could surely think of a better design. Additionally, if you need to purchase the latch replacement because your pedestal is out of warranty, be prepared to pay over $35. if it weren't for the faulty latch, I would have rated this a 5

Finally broke down and entered the new washer/dryer era after owning some older equipment for 20 years. Wish I hadn't waited so long as these new appliances are much better then the old ones. The pedestals are a must purchase to go along with the new washer and dryer. They put the appliances at a convenient height while adding additional storage.
